US Joe Biden News Megathread - The Other Biden Derangement Syndrome Thread (with a side order of Fauci Derangement Syndrome)

Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Vaccine manufactures have upped their cost/dose $3-$5 each from just under $20/ea to about $25/ea.
I am firmly convinced that they have not only done this, but pulled every string they could to manipulate their bought and paid for government officials to essentially turn the entire US government and mass media complex into a marketing firm for their project. You have your scared morons being manipulated, sure, but every time I see a "super scary Delta" news story, my brain recognizes that it's essentially the world's most fucked-up dystopian advertisement.

Now, the big question for the conspiracy theorists like myself and like-minded individuals is this: was this planned or is this literally just a deep state fuck up?

Right, let me give an example provided to me by a colleague.

So in China there was the foreman of a factory, he defacto 'owned' it (as much as one can in China). This foreman had come up with some upgrades to his factory which would moderately improve efficiency, benefiting everyone in the area. One month, he realized they were significantly under budget and that it fit nicely into the cost he'd need to do for the upgrades. So he did them, and they worked well.

Down the line, a couple of years later, an eagle-eyed administrator noticed the increased yield. He reported it up the chain of command who sent someone to investigate how. They came down, and the foreman happily showed off his upgrades, explained how they were fairly cheap, how they proved to have consistent results, and how they might even be applicable to other factories in China. He even notes that it cost China nothing to do it to his factory, since they are given block budgets and he remained perfectly within his.

So how do you think this went? Anywhere in the Western world the man would be lauded. In China...

He was forced to write a groveling apology for "Usurpsing the trust and duty of his superiors" and was forced to personally remove the upgrades he had worked to install.

This isn't a made-up example, it actually happened. This is how much things like personal initiative are reviled in China. There was nothing but benefit here, it doesn't even have a downside. And they forced him to rip it all out because he failed to get proper clearance from his superiors.
Only in fuckin' China. Even Japan wouldn't have demanded that.

Total fuckup. Just complete, absolute fuckup. There is -nothing- good gained from this, no way to even -begin- using it towards an end.

Anything to avoid letting people talk about the greatest foreign policy fiasco in modern history, huh Jack?

There's been rumors milling about invoking the 25th. Which would mean President Kamala. But...

RE: The 25th.

One silver lining in that is... Cameltoe is 1,000% unqualified and incompetent. Impeachment should be raised against her anyway since dereliction of duty with her little chimpouts of late.

Sure, it'll suck. But Cameltoe would either 1. Refuse the position. or 2. Take it, fuck shit up even harder and more spectacularly, leading to:

Impeachment
or
Resignation in disgrace. :story:

Taiwan is missiles capable of striking the 3 gorges dam. if the dam is destroyed china is destroyed. their industrial capacity will be washed away along with 100 million chinese. not to mention the famine resulting.
I've actually been doing some research on the 3GD out of curiosity and from what I've read you'd need a shitton of missiles to blow that thing. Granted info on the quality of any chink made shit is sketchy but it seems like you'd basically need to hammer the thing with thousands of missiles. I'm no engineer though. Though if I remember right the CCP themselves know that the 3GD would be the #1 target assuming a war broke out, that could mean either they know that shit can be broken easily, or they knew it would be a target and took measures to reinforce it against attacks. This being the CCP though I doubt they actually bothered to reinforce it due to sheer hubris.

So just as a reminder about why China is saber rattling so hard at Taiwan, the Republic of China's Navy is working on 8 SSKs with Japanese help. These are modern, if not quite top of the line, Diesel-Electric boats perfect for very quietly putting large chunks of the PLA(N) on the bottom. The CCP's subs are outdated Russian knock-offs. If Taiwan is ahead of Schedule, the Chinese don't have until 2025 to force Taiwan back in, they've got maybe two years. You can't conduct a massive naval invasion while subs are sinking your transports, or God help them, putting one of your carriers on the bottom. Xinnie the Pooh cannot afford a major loss of face and grumblings about maybe having lost the Mandate of Heaven.

The saber rattling is trying to convince Taiwan to give up without a fight, because a fight is uncertain and you just know the RoC would be posting videos of dead Chinese manlets on their beaches all over the Internet.

Agreed - the powers that be have completely and utterly beclowned themselves on the world stage, in a highly visible way that cannot be spinned to anyone but people who are already ardent believers.

There's been some murmuring about refocusing security efforts on "domestic extremists," with BlueCheckmarks, politicians, and state-approved "comedians" like Colbert talking about how we have "the American Taliban," and Vice News just published an article about how the evil right wing (read: shitposters on /pol/) are drawing inspiration from the Taliban.

But I doubt much of anything of consequence is going to come from it. It's hard to make an inspiring call for standing up to the "American Taliban" when the actual Taliban just buttfucked you live on TV and social media. The people running things have shattered their credibility and legitimacy with this clusterfuck, and going forward it's going to be extremely hard for them to get state and local governments and members of Congress to go along with their various busybody plans on the environment, immigration, and COVID, much less go along with any plans on suppressing domestic dissent.

A fuck up, your American deep state is filled with fantasists, they broke a set agreement with a force in an unstable part of the world and thought they could do what they want with zero repercussions.

So I would hope that this scales up to the Chinese military because it would kneecap them until the end of time. But I don't believe that this scales up to the level of PLA, PLANN etc. At the level of military engagement you simply must recognize that you are encountering other forces with the potential to have drastically different doctrines than you. The entirety of the PRC's existence has been mired in the contrast between central planning and the free market. And the PRC's trajectory in general and especially considering the handling of Hong Kong shows a clear understanding when it comes to utilizing foreign systems and ideas. Moreover, that understanding allowed the CCP (through Hong Kong) to enjoy a "best of both worlds" situation for nearly two decades. They got to have their two systems and enjoy their one country. And they still do with more and more of Hong Kong diminishing by the day and being replaced with China.

I don't see that concept being lost on a military force; a military force that will always look at civilian/party leadership as "the politicians" and see them with some amount of contempt.

I've heard similar accounts of province-level industrialists having to bend the knee to the boneheaded will of the party. But those people are not spearheading a life and death operation like a military officer would be concerned with. And what I am suggesting is strictly an expansion of military capacity, which will give the Party leadership pause when contrasted with an overwhelming opponent like the United States. The time to learn is now. It is easily within grasp. Sun Tzu wouldn't miss it and I doubt the current brass would either. The Middle East adventures were extremely educational to the United States in terms of logistical support, urban and rural warfare and the deployment and advancement of modern weapons systems. The Chinese don't even need to fire a gun or occupy territory to begin extracting valuable knowledge. Not to mention the raw materials.

While we are all focused on life outside the USA, can anyone tell me what Mayor Pete Buttlick has done since he was given the post of Secretary of Transportation ? I can't seem to find any actual accomplishment he's done this year.

Mind you, I did a lazy google search, but the first page alone were articles of him just getting the post.
Peter Pal Pete's likely taken it up the ass several times a week. Heavy mouth activity, giving and receiving. Maybe some dildo action. Far as doing anything useful for the country, I doubt he's done much of anything. 🖕 Bite me, Pete.
