Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Now, for a little information:

The Commander of 82nd Airborne is NOT a political animal at first glance.

He joined the Army in 1992. Meaning he's around 30 years in uniform.

He was a member of Delta Force. He has 4 Bronze Stars for VALOR (Not bitchmade thanks for being here officer Bronze Stars), Honduras Parachute Badge (That's not a political one, that shows he was fucking dedicated to Airborne), he's planned, overseen, and personally executed special operations missions. No purple heart, which means he's lucky AND good.

More than likely the screaming match was because Milley and the other gutless retards wouldn't let him go out and do what he sees as his job, rescuing Americans.

The fact that 82nd is standing around sounds like a State Department/CIA/DoA/DoD decision that they don't want things to get worse and they don't want the ballsweat huffing rank and file to fuck shit up.

This does not LOOK like a man who's going to take the "the 82nd ran away" bullshit lightly.

From what I can gather, this guy is actually respected by subordinates and superiors alike, and has apparently told Milley to go fuck himself in the last year.

Five bucks says the 82 AB is there for the branding, not for their expertise. "Oh heavens, things look bad. We shall send the only unit Murricans recognize by name. Surely that will calm the proles."

What's so amazing about this is Joe keeps going back and forth between the White House, Camp David, and his personal home.

He's spent more time in the air, in transit, than he has in briefings, phone calls, or press briefings.

He's reportedly let Jill handle more calls than he's taken.

He's been 'put to bed' because 'he became confused over conflicting reports'.

Now he has the absolute BALLS to complain he hasn't been sleeping well the last week.

I imagine the fucking people he's basically abandoned and tried to gaslight people into ignoring aren't sleeping well either.

Is it really possible that Biden could resign before completing a year in office? Going to Delaware for a long weekend is obviously fucking insane when there's thousands of Americans trapped in Afghanistan. The act itself is basically an admission of one's inability to lead. How could anyone sweep this up?

If some of the rumors going around earlier were true (they were going to drop them to resecure Bagram as the evac point and then backed out) then they actually would've been useful there. As it is though they might as well have fucking sent SecFo.
