So its becoming more and more clear that the ship is rudderless, various world leaders had been trying to get in contact with Biden, or anyone really at the White House and got nothing for 36 hours or longer. Trudeau had to call Hillary Clinton to get someone even remotely connected to the government. The radio silence the US Public has recieved also extends to the various allies at the airport like Turkey and Britain who have troops on the ground.

To my knowledge Biden is still hiding in his Delaware house given that there was a NOTAM during the transfer process to his house and Kamala has not been seen for the better part of two weeks, though supposedly she has been tasked to handle the Haiti earthquake relief.

I wonder if the Taliban will take this prize of advance military vehicles as a sign from Allah to expand to their neighbors and establish a caliphate like Isis tried?

I will admit i don't know shit on military technology and middle east relations but they been pretty much handed a key of military dominance in their area of the sandbox, haven't they?

The schedule wasn’t going to happen. Leaving in May was not going to fucking happen.
For what reason? They had since Biden was put in office to begin drawing up plans to move the troops out - hell it was no secret that Trump had negotiated the deal back in 2020, Biden and by extension his people would've had months beforehand after the election to draw up those plans - or at least brainstorm on what such plans might look like - while waiting for inauguration. There's simply no logical excuse for this.
Leaving in may was going to cause as much of a shit show as this one.
Uh, no. It wouldn't have. At the very least if the Biden admin stuck to the schedule it would've been obvious who's fault it was. Which they didn't purely out of both spite for Trump and the desire for positive press appeal (pulling out on 9/11).
The Trump deal was a decent framework but optimistic and blindsided the Afghan government who were kept out of the talks.
Well yes because the Afghan government weren't the ones who needed to be asked for a ceasefire, now were they? What a stupid talking point.
Mind you they would have pulled out of the talks most likely anyway but at least the “well we tried” would affect stuff.
:story:

It was not, they shot at a crowd near one of the entrances and it caused a stampede which killed several. There has been many other incidents inside and outside. US Troops are shooting rifles almost nonstop at the airport along with the NATO troops and Taliban outside who are trying to manage the crowds and keep the roads clear of people so cars can pass.

If the soon to be refugees want the media to pay attention, then they need to take a knee for George.

You assume they know how to use and maintain them, which is questionable. I would bet that almost all the armor and aircraft are going to wind up being sold to China and Pakistan, because Xi is certainly salivating over getting to pick over all the weaknesses of American military tec without having to do a damn thing.
