Just out of interest, I went back to that thread to look at the kind of abuse our poor Angry Canadian was experiencing. Here are some highlights of their "contributions" to the discussion:
I remember one interaction I had with them when they posted one of their moronic theories where I pointed out that it makes no sense for Barb to be at a Brony convention because Chris Chan was planning on flying there with Bella and I doubt Bella would have sprung to include Barb in the picture, plus I doubt that Chris Chan actually cares enough about Barb to bring her along (he has no history of taking her anywhere when he is on his love quest, except the bedroom I guess). I remember thinking "Man, this is the most retarded theory I've heard in all of this mess but I'll just refute it and move on," sunk cost fallacy for having read that inane speculation in the first place. I recall being pretty neutral about it, not inflammatory.
However, now that it has become a clear pattern of schizoposting and not just a one-off moment of sheer stupidity, I just can't ever take a single thing they say seriously anymore. They are just a time sink for this forum IMO. It almost feels at this point as if it is some elaborate troll to waste as much collective user time as possible. If that is the case, it worked pretty well, so props. But then I remember to not assume malice when stupidity explains it just as well, and what it all boils down to is a confirmed autist:
1. Faceblind
2. Can't read facial expressions/body language
3. Poor grasp on reality, logic, cause-and-effect
4. Spergs out after pushback for their absolutely moronic takes
5. "Something's just not right about this person" but so potent that it permeates through text
