Hormones aside, Jazz has an unhealthy relationship with food. He's probably in pain most of the time, not only from the surgery, but now also his weight. Moving hurts his joints, so he doesn't like to exercise or play, plus he's probably still medically fragile—despite how long it's been, the neovag is still in bad shape. The only thing he can do that feels good is to eat, so that's what he does. Think about the sort of people on my 600lb life; they're addicted to food now, but most of them started overeating because they had some sort of trauma. Ignoring everything else, the surgery itself is traumatic enough, much less the constant media attention and his mom ruining his life.
