Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Haven't laughed this hard at a happening in a long time, the depths of US incompetence truly know no bounds. I hope people in this thread realise the perception of America and its culture outside NA was never all that great. You're lauded for your vitality, passion and work ethic, but not much else. The sad part is that you burgers wouldn't need to care about literal whos perception if your influence didn't stretch so far. At this point, I can only feel sorry for anyone living in burgerland, you have my condolences. Your culture is the problem, not your leaders. Elect who you want, the cathedral needs nothing short of demolition.

Such a clear-cut example why America makes for a poor Leader of the Free World is great, if only your cultural exports could be questioned in the same way.
What are you some kinda commeenist

Name one country that's less shit than the US.
We're all kinds of fucked up, but at least we're not anywhere else.
Switzerland comes to mind. Austria and Norway, too. It's irrelevant, it matters not that the USA is the least shitty country to live in (lmao), it's that you export your influence and have others share in your ruin. Being "woke" is just the latest form of American puritanism, but it's exported because of your Brit*sh ties, English being the lingua franca, social media and lack of local philosophies to reign in influence. Same with your national obsession with the 1st amendment, I can respect it, but when you burgers make enough noise about it because of your pathetic media outlets it inevitably gets imported. Cultural imperialism, like watching an avalanche in slow motion.

The leaders are the problem and who we elect is clearly consequential domestically and abroad, but for a lot of Americans it's been "establishment" dynasty after dynasty all of their lives. The rot is deep but if it was excised it'd do a lot of good.
Your political system, patriotism, race obsession, student debt and lack of basic social safety nets (among others) make it impossible for your country to manifest that "goodness" at all. It's engineered that way and will stay as such until you grind your establishment into a fine mist. Biden will be an embarassment now, but fundamental changes will not be made by any of his replacements because your voters only have two outlets. Vested interest are too strong to be overthrown, you can't maintain a unified culture within a framework that promotes hostility. Your only options are imploding or violent revolution. I'll eat my hat if this changes within my lifetime.

What are you some kinda commeenist
I practically live next door to local headquarters, some of my friends sperg out every time we meet about evil multinationals and big business, with no sense of fiscal reality.

They are? I thought they loved Capitol Police due to their "key role in averting the Trump coup".
They never did because they think the Capitol Police would've Tiananmen Square'd BLM protesters in the Capitol and only let the 'insurrectionists' in because of their inherent racism. It's always been a case of evil racist fascists versus slightly less evil racist fascists for them.

See, this is one of the things I hate most about Biden and how his presidency has turned out, and I will admit that this is one aspect of it that is based on ego.
Yes, we know other countries talk shit about us. I've known that my entire life. In the overseas trips I've taken the only people that had any of that starry-eyed love of Americans I grew up hearing fictional tales of were Aussies. Even in the middle of the Iraq war bullshit, Aussies still seemed to have an understanding that we weren't fucked up ourselves so much as we just had fucked up leaders, and still remembered the important days.
The fact is that until Joe Biden I was goddamn proud to be an American every day of my life. Maybe not meme-tier, USA USA USA, but I would never once have had a moment where I would even consider agreeing with the sentiment of a post like yours. At one point I could still cock my head back and say to myself "Yeah, well who fucking cares? Who does the world call when things go to shit? U S FUCKIN A". And that was the truth for a long time. Liberals hate that truth. Foreigners hate that truth. People in other countries despise it. But the reality is that for the last 100 years, we have kicked ass and taken names. We fought two world wars, one of them on two fronts across the entire globe. We harnessed the power of atomic reactions. We put men on the fucking moon.
And as of this week, we also bumbled our way out of an already embarrassing war in the most humiliating way possible, betrayed thousands of Afghan people who actually did put their lives on the line to help our troops, and are casually tossing our hands in the air about our ability to even save our own citizens.
So I will bitterly agree with the overall sentiment of your post that America is in some shitty straits in terms of international perception, possibly much more dire straits than when it was just the Orange Man and his love of red meat and fossil fuels, but you should know that that sentiment is a new one, and I hope to once more see the day when I can look at my flag and think "You know what? Fuck the world. I'm a red blooded American and God loves me."

A Government Vs Military coup in that situation wouldn't even qualify as a civil war, really. Your gonna have the insurrecting military, your gonna have the military that stands down and doesn't engage, but your gonna see absolutely abysmal loyalist rates if the whole situation is triggered by the government laying blame and punishing the mil complex for their own incompetence. And Lefties, by and large, are the ones flagellating themselves while chanting "How will you stop planes and tanks with an AR15". Its not about the reality of that, just the perception among them that they can't fight the US military off.

The whole thing would basically be over in a weekend, unless the Military went whole hog retard and decided "The states are the problem and we must unify them by force" or something. They're probably just gonna stomp in, strip the current administration, have the Supreme Court organize a new election, and go do their thing, while the world goes nuts on the sidelines. I can't see a situation in which a general tries to declare himself emperor of America or anything.
Thing is, the praetorians didn't generally install army generals as princeps until very late in the Empire. They picked favourable, popular, or connected civilians for the most part, starting with Claudius.

I could thirstpost about her all day but in all sincerity I wish people had taken her more seriously. But she was a threat to the establishment so their bots were all downloaded the "TULSI IS A RUSSIAN ASSET" talking points, and here we are. But I think Tulsi could do a much better job than Joe.
Speaking of Sleepy Joe!
