The last game got a huge amount of flak for being too political, it would look like this is doubling down extremely hard. It also is an extremely blatant rip off of "Papers, Please" which I had to look up and make sure they weren't the same studio.

Right, I'm expecting the "alternate America" is something along the lines of "What if Trump got his way and everyone is against immigration now?" or something.
The first game was essentially "What if the UKIP won and being a second-gen Euro became a federal offense?"
I actually bought the first because I was looking for Papers Please clones. It's not a bad one, although it has some kinks.

What gets me is they honestly CANNOT see the difference.

The flags, for one. The top is a force toppling the government with a new flag, the flag of their organization.
The bottom the flags are of t he country they live in, the other flags show support for a duly elected president.

The weapons: That far surpasses a few AR-15's, that's military hardware including anti-vehicle and anti-armor weaponry. They are not loaded up as a potential warning, they are armed up because they are there to shoot you dead if you so much as look at them sideways or they don't like your haircut or you're a woman with her ankle showing.

The bottom one, if they have weapons, it's more a 'we are allowed to own these' than a distinct promise to use them on anyone they don't like.

The entry.

The top is an invading army intent on overthrowing the government through force.

The bottom is exercising in their due right to assemble and protest what they see as injustice OR show their support for those that they feel represent them.

The fact that these people cannot see the difference tells you all you need to know about them.

What's the similarity? You had people who expressly showed which government they wanted. You'll never see Biden bro boat flotillas, or mass car parades. Or when he loses, have a skywriter saying "World knows he won #Ridin'"

Even after being the most censored POTUS in recent memory, they still can’t hide away from him forever. Since Biden is still on vacation and more Americans are trapped in an airplane, Trump is still being presidential even while not doing anything except his everyday blog post.

Far more work for doing less, while Biden and his administration are not really doing much of anything.
