entirely possible. Do we actually know his weekly figures, because I can still sort of imagine it's 1 to 2 thousand. A lot of the patrons could have just stopped watching and forgotten about unsubscribing, since they're likely only donating $5/month and it's entirely possible to forget such a low payment.

how many emails do you get a day, twenty, thirty? how likely do you think it will go to spam if you keep ignoring it because you're an avid listener, and once you stop it still goes to spam?

To be clear, I'm not saying Dax isn't juking the numbers, I'm just saying there is a plausible alternative

Also possible some of those people donate to more then just Dick on patreon, so the montly email isn't much of a reminder they're wasting their money. And for plenty of patreon cows, it really does look like people just forget to unsubscribe.
