this was when people had 4-7 channels tops. The great 80's shows got a boost in popularity with syndication in the late 80's/early 90's as cable became more common and affordable, and networks like USA and TNT ran re-runs for kids.

It is reasonable to hate the new He-Man and the new Shera but there does reach a point where it becomes obsessive and you might want to consider moving on. You made your point. The only thing you can do is maybe you take a leaf out of critical drinker's book and maybe offer a fix proposal. Like look up his proposals on fixing the new star wars Trilogy. It is pretty interesting.

Maybe instead of focusing on things that make you mad, how about bringing to light things you like without bringing in things that you don't like. When you keep raging on about the culture war and things that piss you off it can drag you down. I think this was one of Jim Sterling's undoing where he raged so much about the AAA games industry but nothing changed that he got burnt out and he can no longer see the good things going on. He has other issues but I think this is one of the big ones.

Have you read any of the comics gate people's comics? What do you think of them? Although be humble if you do this as it will open you up to further criticism with your own comics.

I am not trying to white knight Kevin Smith here but you might want to back off with your fight with him. It is not that I like him, but spending your time getting into slap fights is never a good look. The only winners of an internet slap fight are the people in the audience watching the drama. Plus, this is a key part of being a lolcow is getting overemotional and overreacting.

To draw a comparison let's look at Jim again. When Jim mentions Bobby Kotick I just roll my eyes, yes yes I know you hate him move on.

I am not just a hater and certainly not a stan. If I was I would not be taking the taking the time to write all of this out. I don't necessarily disagree with some of your points. I liked your video talking about the Ellen cartoon, that is interesting news. But you are probably not gonna listen and I am just wasting my time.

This is the part I find most hilarious because if they did their research, they would realize this thread's creation had nothing to do with She-Ra. It was actually made because some of us started noting the utter hypocrisy and downwards trajectory their channel started going in recently on Jeremy's (TheQuartering) thread and it was finally decided that it should be separated. Contrary to what they believe, no one here expected them to like new She-Ra or was even "trying to force" them to. They just can't comprehend that former viewers started getting sick and tired of their ridiculous victim complex and wanted to discuss it.

Geeky must be "reading between the lines" again, just like how she believes people are still trying to force her into liking Netflix She-Ra all of these years later. And considering how because they are intentionally not saying KF's name anymore, they get the added convenience of making it next-to-impossible for their own followers to verify these claims.

I am a former viewer. I listened to Quarterton and Clownfish. I am not brain dead so it didn't take too fucking long to figure out they're just as stupid as fucking sjws.

I considered what they said about their children and decided to remove 2 links to show we aren't weirdos who want to talk about their kids. I should have thought through adding their social media as it could be perceived as that. You know what's better than an apology? Action. So that's why those links are gone. If I find out someone is harassing the kids from this site, we will call them out and be sure to take the piss out of them.

This is a semi-private discussion(anyone is free to join but no one is attempting contact, and this isn't an attention-seeking thread or sub-section of the Farms) about people who are just interesting enough to maintain a conversation about. They reserve the right to be offended, or concerned; and we reserve the right to ignore that shit and continue laughing about them amongst ourselves.

A smart creator would look at a dedicated group of followers like this and think, "how can I engage them to give me views and buy my merch?" There's clearly enough apathy in the thread to read the subtext of 'they're boring, barely worthy of a thread, no one is getting harrassed,' there a dozen or so talking points that they could tweet out and at least half the posters here would think "oh, based, I'll click your videos or throw you a buck on whatever indie thing you're doing to stick it to the globohomos." But instead they insist on being so indignant and annoying about every little thing.

Without it, none of the things you listed would even BE there as they were. And none of the things you listed are inherently less goofy than MOTU.

It was fucking huge in places, nearly tmnt huge in places, just like you could have bands with number one hits on one side of the continent that nobody else heard of. They didn't do a live action movie with no toys on the shelves for probably a decade because it was a niche to medium sized property. North America wasn't a cultural monolith back then. Lots of areas would keep running the cartoons well after the toys were off shelves too because it was way cheaper than new cartoons. It really all depended on what your local stations offered up at the time

To be fair, this was from the first page, the artstyle improves later on. I kinda liked it 'cause it still looks better than calarts but they are way overestimating how good they are.
