The good news here is I can't really see most average Americans being pro-war for a good long time. After this giant clusterfuck people are going to be extremely cynical about the wars being perpetrated for no real reason. Vietnam was only a little while ago, and while Desert Storm was declared "mission accomplished" it didn't really help us in the long run. If we're lucky, America will go pro-isolationism and the warhawks will find themselves with diminished power.

Everyone is turning on him and everyone can see what a screw up it is and is calling him out. Every other country is rather publicly tearing him to pieces and not in the way they did Trump.
Running interference would be suicide but we are already long past the point where they could.
And Biden has really pissed off the wrong people to boot.

It's obvious Biden is having major health issues. There could not possibly be any reason whatsoever for his absences during a geopolitical shitstorm of these proportions - and they haven't even bothered to make any excuses! It's absolutely insane that the president, commander-in-chief, would disappear for days at a time during a military crisis, avoiding NATO leaders, failing to issue statements, etc. It's a literal dereliction of duty. Crazy stuff. Luckily the sitting president doesn't have that much effect on normal people's day to day lives, but if you're in the military or government and rely on the executive for orders/policy (and to cover your ass), it must be getting pretty uncomfortable.
I'll shed some crocodile tears for the apparatchiks later, along with the profiteers (and they really are mostly profiteers, even if by proxy) awaiting evacuation in Afghanistan. It may not be "right" for daddy gov'mt to abandon it's assets over there, but I'm having a hard time mustering any sympathy for whoever was dicking around in Kabul as the sun set on 20 years of bullshit occupation. I have no sympathy for ideologues or the greedy, neither group deserves any. Sometimes people must suffer for their faith. Unlike the natives, they weren't forced to enter a conflict zone, and also unlike most Afghans they've been well compensated and protected for their dedication.
Predictit has a "Biden resigns in first term" bet that I checked back on today, and the bet shares are currently sitting at 25 cents "Yes" vs. 75 cents "No". For those who aren't aware, the payout on shares is a dollar, so that makes a 50 cent bet even money. 25 cent shares would get you a 4x total return.
Unfortunately, their rules for bet resolution are shit. The bet is specifically that Biden will resign and leave office, which means that if he dies, becomes incapacitated, or is impeached/removed from office without tendering resignation, it's considered a "No" for purposes of the wager. I had initially predicted that Biden wouldn't last the first year, and while his problems (and my confidence) went quiet for a while this crisis has shown that my prediction is probably correct. Even if he holds on for the year, he ain't making a full term. That makes the timespan of the wager very favorable even if the conditions aren't great, so if you wanna put a couple bux on him resigning it's not the worst bet you could make. There's a decent chance that he will tender a resignation when faced with a health crisis or removal from office, it's just not nearly as sure as "Biden will be gone by 2024".

While I agree that Biden seems to be having health issues, I don't agree with the reasoning for the absence - I'm a believer in the puppet president idea, the Cabal and all that, and during chaos of this degree, with the Cabal ripping itself apart, he's not gonna be getting much direction. The safest thing to do with a puppet is to tuck them away, less they get it in their head to say something to try and address the situation that goes against the cabal. They can only mulligan so many moments of the puppet making disagreeable policy before it becomes obvious to everyone when he's actually the one driving, and when he's running coached points.

He's a popular black conservative who basically argues that blacks can be just as good as whites without the gibs. In other words, a role model. Not only that, but if California gets a Republican governor like Elder (Schwarzenegger was a Blue Dog Dem at best) and he cleans it up enough, the state might not be a guaranteed free space anymore. This is post is optimistic as hell, I admit, but we'll see what happens. My money's still on Newsom's masters pulling some fuckery.
