Yeah, they pulled the Russian ammo ban which is more about them trying to punish the 2A people since they haven't been able to push Dave "Pose and smile in front of the burnt out remains of the Waco compound like a psychopath" Chipman through the Senate. But that's probably the extent of the kind of power they have at the moment.

Hard to tell what the high levels are thinking right now. I'm still concerned this was all just a long game plot by Pelosi and crew for some ends. Best case imo that the Republicans hope for is similar outcome with what happened to Trump, they successfully file impeachment charges but fail to remove him from office, the cadaver bumbles his way through it all unable to react or do any of his dumbass plans because he's constantly dealing with impeachment shit, and by the time the elections come around people not only have a bitter taste about him but he also doesn't have any "accomplishments" he can tout out.
Republicans should think carefully through this next chess sequence. If they impeach and remove him, Kamala gets in and someone else gets VP spot, plus Kamala is a dumbass but she is still covered by idpol. Even if Kamala somehow got impeached we would end up with president Pelosi.
So the best move in this case is to lame the duck, not cook it. They can deal with an impeached Biden still in office scenario much more easily than they can deal with a Kamala that survived impeachment.
The trick is that the Dems could in theory realize that this would put the Republicans in advantageous position and 25th him themselves. I don't see the senate Dems actually impeaching him but there are enough loose feral cats in the house that Pelosi might not be able to reign them in this time if they decide Biden hurt too many brown people's feelings.
The most important long game aspect in this is for Republicans to play it smart. So, we are fucked.
