If he does sue me I'll discuss counter-suit options since I'll be in court anyways. A counter-suit is when a legal action is brought and then relevant actions are also brought by the defendant in response. The entire case is considered in whole as a single issue. Judges like counter-suits due to their efficiency, as opposed to two independent suits.

IIRC it's also necessary to consider a counter-suit. If Ralph sues and I don't bring them, I lose them as available actions later, because Ralph could claim that I should have brought them during the first lawsuit. It sort of forces me to be aggressive if I want to reserve my rights.

It's old grease. I'm certain that most White Castle do not clean their griddles enough after making 1000+ batches of tiny sliders 12 hours a day.

I'd be hopeful that the franchises change the frying oil at regular intervals but I wouldn't be surprised if they delay that until it's utterly necessary because Oil at restaurants volumes cost more than the damn potatoes.

Okay, so what would this lawsuit cost him in terms of cash? In fact, for those of you legally and financially inclined, how much will all his current lawsuits cost him if this one is actually initiated? IF he goes through on this threat won't that take him up to four active litigations?

Edit: @AnOminous What's your take on this? Will Ralph actually be able to sue Null over a data breach not involving the Farms, or will he have a case for the information being posted here? Names, email addresses, usernames, ect.

Just to get started it would have to be a federal case, since Virginia would lack personal jurisdiction in the matter (since Josh lives in Bumfuck Europe, or at best his residence is listed in Florida) so he'd be paying multiple thousands of dollars in a retainer with the lawyer. As a basic idea, Jeremy Hambly (TheQuartering) raised $35,000 for his lawsuit against the guy who punched him and he didn't even get past pretrial motions with that amount. This is even larger in terms of motions and, if it gets to it, discovery.
