It's just very, very strange. Only military aircraft have flown in to Afghan. You took a civvy flight from [redacted] to [redacted] then boarded a military flight from [redacted] to Afghanistan. To send civvy planes in now, under the guise of "we need more planes", to me, means one of two things:
1) There will be a YUGE air lift coming within the next week, where it is end-to-end planes leaving one after another (similar to a large airshow if anyone has ever seen one on departure day, or Heathrow airport that has a plane departing every 2 minutes)
2) The American armed forces will be yanked out of there before 31st August and civvy flights will be sent in as either bait, or as an international effort of "You can't shoot civvy planes, the UN says so". Which would mean that Russia and China tell the taliban to stand-down.
