Yeah what @Matt Damon said. People who are saying this is LITERAL RAPE are going a bit far but the behavior is still rather troubling IMO especially given everything else we know about Bella. The other girl is clearly agitated by Bella's behavior and then makes an attempt to laugh it off because that is socially acceptable and she is in a dorm room (possibly not hers) with at least 2 other people who are in on the joke that she seems not to be.
Zero Dark Thirty, love it or hate it, has probably the most accurate depiction of waterboarding I can think of. It's not gently pouring water on somebody's head, it's basically smothering them and forcing water down their throat. It's not really the "feeling" of drowning, it's actually being suffocated. The body instinctively panics and you start swallowing water while the cloth constricts around your mouth and nose. The fact that America ever tried to pretend it isn't torture is just psychopathic to anybody who knows what it is.
I think it started playful until Bella started getting actually aggressive with her. I noticed the airpods too, but it didn't click that the phone was hers and not Bellas. My guess is more Bella wanted her attention, was getting a passive “fuck off” with the phone and airpods, so she decided to get the phone away from her. Perhaps a reason the girl was trying not to escalate anything by not fighting back harder and just trying to get away, is because she was worried her phone would be launched at the nearest hard surface. Bella is an obsessive little creep, and I'm wondering if she was even friends with these girls, or even invited to their room. Maybe she only knew them and just walked in and the girl on the bed started filming when she really got to making a full on nuisance of herself.
