Ludwig Wittgenstein. Philosopher.
A philosopher who specifically wrote meta-analysis on arguments/philosophy itself. He looked at how philisophical arguments were made and the patterns of thought they take (among a billion other things). Him doing shit like this is entirely intentional. You are meant to read his writings with the same perspective he is giving to the arguments he's looking at. You are supposed to do meta-analysis of his meta-analysis. The best way I can put it is that it's trippy as fuck and will absolutely fuck with your mind. Dude was beyond genius and does not get enough credit for his work, mostly because his works are extremely hard to parse.

I've not read his work but I saw the meme before and was curious who did, in fact, write it. What would you recommend of his? I'm curious about his philosophy of mathematics.

Wittgenstein has three seperate periods in his life of his writing, a lot of his later works contradict what he says earlier. Maybe I'll make a thread on him or I will pm you later some more information about him. But to quickly answer that question without writing an essay, I'd suggest his final work "Philosophical Investigations". Having some background knowledge in logic/propositional logic is very helpful, but I think you can get through it without it and by doing some extra research as you go through. I'd also suggest reading it with some people and talking about it, that helps a lot.
