It blows my mind people pretend he's still "hilarious!" at any point after Patrice died. Someone made another not-Beige Frequency "doc" on him recently and still felt like they needed to make a point how he was wasting his "hilarity" on Twitter sperg outs. Dude has been out of it forever by now.

WATP is a perfect example of why Jocktober wouldn't have worked as a year long segment. Only much worse, because the only host is about as funny as Opie and most of the guests are about as charismatic as Joe DeRosa.

Karl is an inherently unlikeable midwit boomer who's ruined his own show by believing his own hype after courting the audiences of people like Dick and Nana Cumia. He's also weirdly proud of his sub-NOFX bullshit joke punk music that he makes

I'll confess that I haven't listened to the show in over a year. Has it really gotten that bad, where even Kaya and Doug can't redeem it?

Karl is fucking obsessed with stuttering john, the most boring idiot on the planet. Even Opie is more interesting. Every episode is Karl rushing thru whatever featured podcast basically as a formality so he can live out his gay boomer Stern radio war fantasies with SJ coverage

I don't see Kaya and Doug around that much anymore, granted whenever they show up it's usually a great show.

IMO WATP has become very hit or miss, it depends a lot on whos the cohost that week and if he has any idea how the show format works at all. The regular cows of the show have taken up pretty much 2/3 of it.

It's 30-40 min covering the week's podcast, "ha ha look at these dumb bitches" or "ha ha these woke ppl are crazy", them some weekly drama if theres any and them a whole lot of SJ and Patrick Michael. As incompetent and talentless as John is, there's only so many ways you can point that out without being repetitive and Karl is running out of them.

Cumia simping has also recently gone off the charts since Nana was an actual guest a couple of weeks ago. Karl namedrops him like a motherfucker and basically acts like the dude is still king of radio.

I actually really like the Creep Off. I think that Vinnie and Karl vibe well and the premise is a nice spin on normal true crime shit.
WATP, eh. It really depends on if they found a really fucking crazy person to rip on that week, but it’s not nearly as good as it used to be.
