Despite Ralph claiming there were "no special circumstances" listed on page 1 of like 3 of the dispensation paperwork, and despite claiming the case wasn't nolle prosequi'd but rather was dismissed outright, I can now confirm to you lovely people that indieed, Ethan Ralph's charges for revenge porn for releasing the sex tape of Faith have been reinstated. His arraignment was held 13 August 2021, his next court date is 10 September.

This is like a day after he said he would go after the Farms for "leaking all his subs details" or some shit like that. Guess there is a god of the corn fields after all.

Any good law people know the rationale for charges being reinstated after being dropped? Although I'm glad to hear it's happening, in principle, I think it's a shitty American system for a prosecutor to drop charges against a defendant only to decide to pursue it and bring it up again 6 months later.. Unnecessarily adding to the defense's court costs.

Either they got new/better evidence, or Ralph was on some kind of deferred prosecution agreement and violated it.

Yeah. As I said, I could find the district court record and docket but once it was transferred it wasn't online. I think I posted about that in a previous post. Every time I've had an update from the JDR it's always after I called. This is the first time I recorded it, because I knew people would want actual evidence since it wouldn't be found online.
