He sent it to her ex while she was in a mental hospital unable to be contacted. There was no way to acquire consent even if it was to brag. Being in a mental hospital also brings up the question of if she could have consented at the time anyway.

I said this last time round, if they actually take a look at the evidence here Ralph is fucked. Not from the US, but is it reasonable to assume that because they're deciding to reopen the case that they will be less inclined to let him off this time round?

It is just dissemination of images and like Faith said, one of the ones posted on /cow/ was a canary image only sent to ralph. I know they weren't explicit but it might be related.

It could be many things. I think it’s a pretty safe assumption though that the decision to dismiss Ralph’s charges came with some conditions, and Ralph violated those conditions. In other words, I don’t think they have new evidence or something like that. The evidence was pretty strong from the beginning. He committed the crime in front of a live audience after all.

Either way, I’m glad this happened just in time for harvest season.

Despite Ralph claiming there were "no special circumstances" listed on page 1 of like 3 of the dispensation paperwork, and despite claiming the case wasn't nolle prosequi'd but rather was dismissed outright, I can now confirm to you lovely people that indieed, Ethan Ralph's charges for revenge porn for releasing the sex tape of Faith have been reinstated. His arraignment was held 13 August 2021, his next court date is 10 September.

To qualify for a public defender, you have to basically be poorer than dirt. In some locations, you can't even have a used car in your name as the argument is that you could sell your car for a lawyer retainer.
