Well, that's why calling them NPCs was, and still is, so appropriate. No thinking for yourself is their goal.
But as we both said, the people the most vocal about how everything here is lies, how we're a forum for harassment, how we drive people to suicide and how our goal is just to bully people - they're the ones we talk about here, with proof of something they've done that they don't want people to find out about. They're the people who personally benefit from our reputation, because somewhere on here is proof of something bad they've done, some lie they've told, some grift they've pulled.
There's a fair number of people who aren't specifically named on the Farms but are part of groups they feel compelled to defend against the facts that we collate here, because it makes them look bad. Troons, furries, SJWs in nerd hobbies - all have a vested interest in discrediting who and what we make fun of because their identity is so wrapped up in being part of that group. And the easiest way to do that is to point out we dox people (with publicly available information) and use no-no words. While I don't have time for assholes who clutch their pearls so hard about that, it's accurate; both those things are all over the Farms. But the ones who want to make sure no-one goes here because it's all lies, we just make shit up and everything is doctored just to persecute poor innocent minorities? They're the ones with something to hide.
Anyone who actually visits the site can come away from it saying we're all fuckwits but we archive our shit; there can be occasional speculations that get accepted as fact or mistakes made that need to be corrected, especially during a Happening, but when things settle down we inevitably have the evidence. So anyone who denies that is either an NPC or there's things here that make them look bad, whether individually or because, for example, we have a multiple threads demonstrating that troons are terrible, terrible people, and a whole subforum dedicated to the degeneracy of furries.
So in the example of everyone in the Twitter thread complaining about the Farms that Lou thundered into to accidentally prove them all wrong, I remain certain that they have specific things they want people to think are lies but we have the evidence otherwise. Especially the guy at the end complaining about context for someone abusing another person...
