Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Why would you carry your passport on your person? I just carry a photocopy. Most foreign cops loathe fucking with first world nationals as it entails a shit ton of paper work and possible call to the consular affairs section.
It's like a free get out of jail card when a crisp $20, $50 or $100 is next to it.

Roy moore? Whatever happened to him? I forgot how the media memory holed him the moment he lost
I don't know. I think he ran for something in 2020 but evidently lost. I didn't really want to vote for him and I was hoping another right winger would get the nomination but alas.

Tommy "Tupperware" Tuberville mopped the floor with Doug Jones, who literally only won because his opponent was accused of rape 30 years ago.

ETA: Fun fact, I actually got to go to a watch party for Kay Ivey. Long story but that's one of my favorite memories. My friends got on a bunch of news shows who were there and made jokes on live TV.

Donald Trump was supposed to be The People’s President™, but even we weren’t that näive enough to think that one man was going to stop the Deep State and their cronies to stop messing with ordinary Americans that live the regular, slice of life day.

2020 was when I slowly started to realize that this meme has not lied to any one of us yet:

2020. That sure was a year.

Sonic the Hedgehog was generally well-liked. Tenet failed at the box office.

The coof dramatically changed human interaction, for the worse I think.

Doom Eternal was very successful, but a bit of a let down to me. The Last of Us Part II was a legendary moment in memetic communications. Half-Life Alyx was pretty cool. Final Fantasy VII Remake cut off a significant portion of the base game for presumably future DLC updates. Rick May (Soldier from TF2, among other characters) passed away, the Valve Orchestra performed Taps for his memory.

Joe Biden "won" the election. Kyle Rittenhouse nailed his name (and three bullets) into the pages of American folk history. The George Floyd summer jamboree makes everyone realize that buying guns and ammo is a worthwhile investment.

I'm still in 2017 but reading through the thread, the missing link here is the G7.

Have the allies (Brits) said "Extend the deadline or kiss your alliance good-bye"? or in British "Jolly good, old boy, you can take your ease on the lanai of the world stage on your onesie, savvy? we're going to keep calm and carry on say what"
