Industry plants. Generally mainstream media attempting to inject themselves deeper than they already have into Youtube or just various businesses trying to act like indie creators making videos from home by themselves. Advertizers have started to ape commentary Youtubers content and basically have for several years so it's obvious how easy it would be. One actual example though is the Brew/Tea spill/whatever the other channel is called group. They tried to act like they were singular creators making commentary content but they all have the same artstyle, similar "comedy" and tied each other together with appearances from characters on seperate channels. Turns out it was all run by some guy trying to make a multi channel business. I definitely agree with the sentiment that Scott is also a likely one, I've said this in other threads but he came out of nowhere and instantly gained a following, and had pretty good production value from the get-go. Barely a year into his channel and he was already doing collabs and large projects. Plus his content is just a bit too squeaky clean and also incorporates the sketch comedy that previous groups like Channel Awesome did as well as Normal Boots. Not sure about Kurtis but all of these milquetoast watered down versions of yesteryear's commentary channels like Leafy but with all of the edginess erased have been making bank, and it's some of the easiest shit ever to do what they do.Plants?
