Well, yeah. They only want revenge. You see it in how they complain about anyone who has been canceled, like Zoe does. They want anyone they've canceled to go away forever and stop existing - which in practical terms means they want them all to Holowka themselves. Nothing they ever say or do is ever enough to atone, none of the evidence against them being discredited is enough - if you've been canceled, they want you to go away forever. On their say-so, by their version of events, with no chance of redemption.

It's why they're worse than religious zealots, who at least believe in forgiveness. Funny how Brave Zoe Quinn doesn't name who she's specifically talking about when lamenting a 'sexual predator' working in games again. It's that aura of victimhood her and her ilk like to promote at all times - 'we're discriminated against and sexually assaulted by all these evil men! No, we won't name them, even if 'everyone knows' - just trust us.' After all, if she drives another 'sexual predator' to killing themselves, isn't that a good thing by her metric? Can't waltz back into an industry you're meant to be banned from because Zoe Quinn says so if you've necked yourself...

Do they actually want them to go away forever? I feel like they kind of enjoy going after people to some degree, and the longer they're around, the more they can waste everyone's time making others miserable. Seeing people react to their shit keeps them going, and if there's nobody there to react, they start making up new targets to go after.

It's not really about the other person, but themselves. They want attention and don't care what happens for them to get it.
