There was a period of a few days maybe 3 months ago where she claims to have left or forgotten her wallet at home. The story kept changing and, as usual, the whole thing seemed pretty sus. At the time, I was convinced she had "left" the wallet at Nader's, and it wasn't an accident.

I'm thinking this is just another iteration of Chin's inability to engage in any kind of sexual or romantic relationship without first opening her wallet.

ETA @kookie, the other day she claimed she didn't have any cash (and possibly even that she never carries cash on her) when a homeless and/or desperate person approached her car window mid-nashie asking for bus fare. I don't give her much credit for imagination, but I wonder if downplaying the situation is just a little damage control. "OMG I HAD SO MUCH CASH IN THAT WAL--er, no.
