If anyone has their finger on the pulse of the mainstream its the guy who bans 99.9% of the population from commenting in his stream chat (under estimated the number), never leaves his house for anything, has consistently been wrong on literally everything, and has spawned an entire industry to laugh at his stupidity.

Imagine if Phil had a properly functioning brain and realized, that if all other streamers are playing popular “mainstream” games, there are some serious niches that could be filled by streamers playing less popular games?

If Phil got 500 people to watch him play (I don’t know... Fucking) Tetris, he would already have doubled his number of viewers.

But nope: Phil is truly a dinosaur for whom it’s always 2010, and the road to success is playing the newest, hottest games and putting that shit on YouTube before anyone else does it.

That’s Phil for ya. Doesn’t matter how much the world or his circumstances change. He’s like a constant in nature: He does what he has always done and will never change.

It's pretty common with long-time alcoholics. He's a high functioning addict, technically, and their brain is so used to it that it only functions normally when they drink. If he ever gave up drinking, he'd probably have to be hospitalized so the withdrawal doesn't literally kill him.

P.S.: DSP, if you're reading this, please quit cold turkey suddenly and don't talk to a doctor first.

IMO at this point I don't think games will ever matter to DSP. Just to use September as an example for the Hardcore Gayming Season we can look forward to Tales of Arise -very doubtful he will play but he brought it up-, Deathloop, and DSPs most anticipated Derich Simulator Lost Judgment the sequel to last years Judgment. He's gonna have the same WRONG opinions about each and every single game with the same bitching for Tips. Using the exact same excuses, blaming viewers etc. What the fuck does this man want? Hawt new releases should be a Curse for him cause everyone will wanna play the new games themselves.

Maybe the common sense factor is that the game has all the quirks and all you have to do is just, play it.

His commentary is absolute shit too and offers nothing unless you're the one exceptionally blind person that "watches".

I could be wrong, but I believe it's safe to quit drinking cold turkey(if you have the willpower to do so ofc)

It's alcohol, this isn't heroine or cocaine we're talking about here

Alcohol is actually one of the few commonly used substances that can end up actually killing you if you quit cold turkey rather than just making you feel like you're dying/wishing you were dead, depending on how severe your abuse problem is not even rehab facilities will let you do it ( where im from, don't know about the US )

Alcohol can fuck you up good combined with how easily available it is to get and how cheap in comparison to heroine and cocaine.

You will wish you were dead if you get into deep if you cut out alcohol like that.

With the whole Car accident lore being brought up again I have some thoughts.
1. It was 100% his fault
2. Phil is a very bad driver (Not sure if he was falling asleep or his natural sway got transferred to the car) We all know how bad he is when driving in gta, like he doesn't have any motor skills.... gin intake intensifies. I would like to speculate that he was in his lane, a car "came up" behind him going like 5mph faster than he was and he got very nervous and had a swanic attack ( Sway Panic Attack). He drove into the barrier and tried to blame everyone that wasn't him. Got minor injuries but it's Phil so he almost died dood.
3. All eye witnesses told a similar story of what happened and they figured out it was Phil. He will never bring this up.
4. Seattle's air has healing properties and his back is just ok now.
