Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

I actually like Beck (started listening to him right after 9/11) and I get the impression he's an honest guy. That being said, if you start crying on National TV I think you're a little nutty.

I very well could be wrong..but like.

C'mon it would be the biggest dick play the Taliban can do, like what are we going to do? Go back in? Is anyone going to be for that even with a massive attack? Is anyone really going to be up for another 20 years of "NATION BUILDING" tm? Would we be able to trust this Administration to blow them to hell correctly this time?

I liked him for a long while, when he still had a little bit of an edge. More On Trivia was always amusing, but cocaine is a hell of a drug and you don't always walk away from that the same as you went into it. He's a touch nuts.

It's been brought up before, I remember that day. I was in the shower, getting ready for my first class of the day when my little sister banged on the door and said a second plane had crashed. The first tower came down as I was driving off. Nothing constructive happened that day anywhere.

I was sleeping one off in college when my Mom called, yelled we're under attack and then hung up. I hadn't even bothered hooking up my TV yet so I started knocking on the doors until I found someone who was awake and turned the TV on.

I spent the rest of the day with a half full room temperature Natty Lite in a buddy's dorm room watching the TV in horror. We just kept watching waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Growing up it was the Fall of Saigon, the Pentagon Papers, the Oil Crisis, Operation Eagle Claw, the Iran/Contra Affair, racism, inflation, housing market crashes, all of that.

Biden, in less than a year, has managed to do ALL of it, and somehow worse.

With even more looming on the horizon.

Holy hell, how long do we have to put up with that shit?

Ive just so happened to be watching Boston Legal lately, and holy shit does it hit a lot harder seeing James Spader's character criticize the war while everybody else blows him off.

How shameful only a few saw the way the wind would blow.

What matters is how we respond. If this isn't a swamp draining event, then there is something wrong going on. I don't see people seeing Biden tell school kids to get fucked and going "makes sense." Also, what idiot at the state department allowed those kids to travel there when the Taliban have been taking territory since May! Sure, c'mon over, get a front row seat at the wars going on.
