I kinda hate to break it to you, but unless someone or something with a lot of institutional power behind them comes out swinging, nothing's going to happen. Soros is a large part of the reason the UK is in the state it's in today. Not the entire reason, but a large part of it. He shorted and crashed Sterling during the ERM crisis (we shouldn't have joined ERM in the first place, but Major forced it while he was chancellor). It was the killing blow to the Major government, which led ultimately to Labour getting elected, and Blair and his cronies setting in motion everything that came since. Pick any major problem with the way the UK is governed right now and it's more than likely it had its origin under the Blair government.

I can't answer for @soy_king and am not Jewish, but there's the issue of just media coverage and lobbying organizations getting the most funding. There are lots of lesbians (actual lesbians) who hate the trans movement and the way it co-opted the LGB movement (which frankly had achieved its aims in the West for the most part). But I guarantee you when the media interview someone, they go to Stonewall or some "queer" advocate writing for Pink News. I could name the person who chaired my local Women's Rights group, who has spoken at numerous small grass-roots meetings. And I can almost guarantee you wont have heard of her. Same with the environmental lobby - there are a tonne of us who are pro-nuclear, who recognize it as THE single best way to reduce atmospheric pollutants and protect the environment. If there's an environmental story in the news who will the media call up? Some nutjob from Friends of the Earth. These people get their name in official sounding organizations, they fund dinners and get their phone numbers circulated amongst journalists and politicians for any time a viewpoint on "their" issue is found. They have an entire business model based on speaking on behalf of group X, Y or Z and making sure they remain the ones speaking on behalf of that group.

I guess I'm not disagreeing with either of you, I'm just pointing out that against well-funded, politically connected groups who do this 24/7 as their career, it's hard for ordinary members of any community to get their voice heard as representative.

3. Plausible deniability

These cost $2 billion per unit, and they've paid at least that much each to keep them in the air for 20-30 years, not even adjusted for inflation. Only 20 were made, or at least acknowledged as being made. For years I've used the unit cost as mental shorthand to put budget spending in perspective, ie "This federal program is 4 B-2 bombers" or "my state's annual budget is about 1 B-2 bomber".

The US is not going to misplace this. If they did, it would absolutely be a backroom deal to get this in the hands of China, and there would be enormous outcry from the Air Force and defense industry lobbyists; the latter being only people that this administration actually seems to be accountable to.

The USN and USAF would send fighters into Chinese airspace to destroy this if captured. That's how much of a BFD this aircraft is.
