Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

How many more Americans must die because one boy put party and politics over country? And how shall we get through forty more months of these people?

Also, as a general message to the thread, this is starting to resemble /r/politics during any given Trump scandal. The establishment is not going to fold just because a bunch of people screech on social media, and that's all that is going to happen while we watch soldiers and civilians get butchered on video. Biden and Kamala are going to keep dodging briefings and questions and laughing in people's faces, GOP senators will say they are very concerned, Dem senators will say that the evacuation would have been bad no matter what but that Joe did the best he could. The press will tell you that women who used to have dicks and Black people who vote Democrat were most affected by this and that everyone else chose to stay and was also probably a Trump voter. China will start annexing territory and Biden will eat an extra large ice cream cone, take a big slimy dump in his Depends and go back to sleep. COVID will spike in the fall and your consumer goods will get more expensive while you are compelled into increasingly draconian behavioral routines. Social media will be talking about how to be less racist while holiday shopping and how the best Christmas gift is that Orange Man isn't in the White House.

The establishment doesn't give a single solitary fuck about you or your opinion because they know god damn well that none of you will ever hold them accountable, and you won't, because it it isn't worth it for you to do so by design. You will see massive regime change or political transformation the day that mass starvation occurs in the US and not a single day sooner.

Edit: Oh, also - none of this is to say you shouldn't feel mad or sickened by all of this horseshit. I have never personally seen such a display of utter incompetence and failure from America as we are seeing now. You should still try to do what's right - call your reps, vote, organize, etc. Just don't hang all your hopes on this manufacturing significant change because it probably won't and the the worst thing you can do for yourself is shatter your own hopes right in the middle of this shit, or overreact in a way that gets you yeeted. Stay strong fam. Now if you'll excuse me I am going to go make fun of fat people to make myself feel better.

Given the increasing production and store stocking shortages mixed with prices on everything going up more and more this is becoming a faint possibility.

Why would republicans push for impeachment? Every second that Biden remains president is a gift for the coming midterm elections.
Just see how he has devolved since the debates a year ago til now, and imagine what shape he will be in in a year from now when the election campaigns will peak.
