Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

It's kind of worse. When called on how marines have started dying since he took over he's said "the reason they weren't dying before was because Trump negotiated with the Taliban". Is it weird that he thinks this somehow means Trump was cheating or something? I think it's weird.

The Trump plan was impossible because the military brass really, really didn’t want to leave Afghanistan. No amount of whipping Trump would do could stop them from dragging their feet.

I have mentioned before that modern Jews can be placed into two camps. One is the non-religious group that is power-mad nutjobs who use the tight-knit nature of the Jewish Community to commit vast amounts of nepotism with a larger goal of solidifying their own power. That they are jews is... not really a concern so much as "They are family". They are also by -far- the minority. The majority are still tight-knit and nepotistic, but it's out of a sort of self-preservation instinct. They grew so used to being hated by everyone that they withdrew into themselves.

The problem is it became a self-fulfilling cycle. They withdraw, which raises suspicion, and that causes more withdrawal. All while that minority grins and pretends to represent the Jewish Community. I know this because I nominally belong to the latter group. Non-practicing, but raised by a grandmother who came here as a child from Poland, fleeing the nazis. I have a rather personal hatred for these people, these monsters in human skin... but that doesn't mean I can not acknowledge that the community I grew up in is bringing it on themselves by avoiding the outside world and pretending like they can just let the idiots nuke themselves without it hurting that larger community in the process.

This is what I think Constellationzero is getting at, it's not the holocaust they could have prevented but instead the modern fuckfest that is Jewish relations with the rest of the fucking world.

Bagram itself was a Soviet AFB so its not like Joe "I'm a student of history" Biden had no idea what it was and its capabilities.
