Fairly high. Basically depends on how willing ISIS is to move resources into the area and risk getting into an open war with the Taliban.

In a way I think the Taliban don't get anything out of going full out on whatever is left from NATO in Kabul after the 31st. ISIS is a problem for them as well. They had a huge fucking battle not many years ago (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Darzab_(2018) ) and it will be one of their main challenges. In a way I think the deadline might just be an empty threat unlike media is leading us to believe. What do the Taliban get out of it once the magic number of the calendar changes after today?

Idk, we will see.

pretty much every white outside of the anglo-saxon and Scandinavian stock has at least some history of telling their superior officers to fuck off especially when given orders to fire on civilians, the US military, especially has almost never had a single soldier refuse an order, even when told to hold children at gunpoint during the desgregation days.

Using federal troops to enforce desegregation at gunpoint is a good place to start.

You know a policy is popular when you need to enforce it at gunpoint. For a democracy it sure does undemocratic things.
