SACRAMENTO — California lawmakers could consider legislation this fall or early next year that would create a statewide coronavirus vaccine-or-testing mandate for employers, as well as a vaccine mandate for bars, restaurants, gyms and other venues.

It's not formally introduced yet and they're not sure if they'll introduce it this session or next. I'm not actually sure how likely it is something like this will pass. If anyone has California political knowledge (beyond 'abandon all hope ye who enter here') do please enlighten us.

Extremelly skeptical...looks like propaganda. Im not even sure if the people dieing are real. One of them in florida when i looked on the account really raised red flags. I could find no evidence the person existed outside of social media. Not even a traffic ticket

In my local paper a few days ago there's this story of college age boy (Very obese) who got COVID and got very sick. In the hospital he told the nurses that he "Wanted to take the COVID vaccine as soon as possible"

On a other note the Minnesota State Fair opened today, of course the only thing on the news is about COVID and how it will spread. Thank god no vaccine mandates but boy are the liberals in Minneapolis are pissed. Only about 150 people got the jab while 100,000 people usually show up on a weekday.

My read on those articles is they're targeted at the potentially "vaccine regretful" more than the "vaccine hesitant." Reinforce they did the right thing by taking the shots while still having to mask up in the face of mounting restrictions.
