Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

I'm enjoying watching Biden end the war in Afghanistan.

The loss of a few lives is no biggie. It was always going to be messed up leaving there.

How did people imagine it would go? Farwell's at the airport, hand waving and a musical score to a setting sun? A tear as the Afghan people took back what they wanted?

The Fog of war.

Not surrounded in the Taliban-occupied capital, a horde of refugees, collaborators and enterprising migrants trying to escape while a thin line of soldiers desperately enforce order as suicide bombings and terror attacks butcher them and helpless innocents.

One would expect Afghanistan to fall as soon as West withdrew their military presence; but what was expected (but didn't materialise), was an adequate handling of our withdrawal, that we'd pull civilians out and maintain a strong line in the sand against Taliban incursions so there'd be breathing room for when everyone leaves.
Instead, stockpiles of weapons and equipment were abandoned to the enemy, forced to kowtow to the Taliban for mercy and to keep our evacuation safe, all culminating in the utter humiliation of the west, and specifically America by showing how incompetent the administration is and how unwilling they are to do anything but political point-scoring.

We went a year and a half without a single casualty when we were playing by trump's rules. No one expected a storybook ending but everyone expected the pullout to be clean, secure, and organized. This is none of those and now thousands of civilians will be left behind. But you probably don't care about that, that's all trump's fault, or biden had the deck stacked against him, or biden is doing his best or something, fuck if I know.
Don't bother replying, I'm not gonna read it because this isn't gonna change your mind and you aren't gonna change my mind. Let's agree to disagree.

but their base openly HATES landowners and more specifically landlords.
Disagree. Their base hates the middle class, especially when the middle class tries to rise above its station.

Remember, two of the six members of #DaSquad that openly advocate against landlords are in fact landlords themselves. It's okay when they do it.

They openly state that any small business that "can't afford" to pay people $15/hour should just close down.

They might pay lip service to big business and corporations, but everything they actually do is to fuck over the middle class from making something of themselves. Their entire political policy is based on people being too poor (and stupid) to take care of themselves so the government just needs to step in and give them everything. At some point, it stops being a coincidence.

You shouldn't until the people in charge shape up, and without giving any sort of advice, I would laud any person who was creative in avoiding paying as much taxes as possible, aside from the assholes actually running this shitshow.

Btw, it's incredibly rich that swampfucks like Biden Pelosi and AOC all complain about multinationals paying insufficient tax when all of these assholes have armies of accountants exploiting every possible loophole imabinable.

Avoiding taxes is very much illegal and no kiwi should do it. And never, ever use the word avoid and taxes together.

However chances are most people are paying more then they are legally obligated to pay. You should take a look at that and make sure you aren't giving more then necessary.

With the 'withdrawal' coming to a close and with Biden still in office, His chances of surviving this are high. Barring any sort of mass, mass casualty event before the last plane lifts off, it's all done and dusted and anything that happens AFTER the deadline cannot be pinned on Biden.

Cue celebrations of Biden staying strong in the face of right-wing media and aggressive MSM campaign, how he was the only president to get America out of Afghanistan, how he answered the tough questions when the call came in. How he can multi-task with the G7 nations, his VP in the south china seas, the Afghanistan Withdrawal, the COVID vaccination victories and most importantly his Build Back Better agenda is moving forward.

*star spangled banner plays softly*

As President Biden stands proud at the site of Ground Zero, New York, it's easy to see why he is the most popular president ever. The White house has returned to a state of dignity and pose, a state we haven't seen since Obama's last day in office, and a state that has been sorely missed by Americans at home and their allies on the world stage. The world has never looked safer. Here's to another 3.5 years, Mr President.

A good story, shame it'll never actually fly with the American populace and his popularity is still in freefall.

I hate that I know this will be the main stream media and party line on Monday.

Biden will survive, but 2022 and 2024 are pretty fucked for the DNC unless they make the printers go brrrrrrrr even faster this time.

And shit like this is so obvious I don't get why people think Biden is coming out of this looking clean.

Stop and think about this, things like "Biden is handed his questions" have entered even Twitter's subconscious. A complete left-wing echo chamber. Yes, they try to defend it, but it means they -have- to defend it.

*laughs in NPC*

Biden needs one, just one good event, manufactured or not, and he will back to being praised as a saint.

"Not waiting until september 11th to withdraw is a good thing, and here's why"
"Biden did what no other president could; End the war on terror"
"After election fraud probes are shut down for fraud, right-wingers can now accept that Biden is officially the most popular president ever"
"Trumps horrible, damaging and anti-patriotic advert that attempts to make Biden look bad, is an Anti-American, Pro-Russian sentiment"

That's not how approval works, that's never -been- how approval works. Even the Cult of Obama could never do that and the media -ravenously- simped the man.

Like, this is so divorced from reality, even ignoring the fact that Biden has yet to have a good event to begin with, that it's just fantasy.

Still upset about Florida? Cunt.

CIA Directory drops by Afghnistan, somehow the Taliban get a list of all Americans.
Why would the CIA give out American names? Are they trying to turn this dumpster fire into a wastedump fire for some extra tragedy value? I'd "understand" turning over collaborator info so the taliban can do some cleanup the CIA is too inadverse to do so at the moment, but American names?

Yes, tax avoidance is wrong and no one should engage in such behavior. Exploiting every available legal loophole and using every possible deduction,on the other hand, is perfectly acceptable.

I know it's fantasy. I don't believe in any of those words, but if I use them on NPC's, I can get them to do whatever I want.

And while you may have more Optimism, I have more Autism.

"I warned you faggots about two parties, you ignored me and you got this."
And this is why I revere and respect George Washington. The guy didn't even want to be President, but reluctantly agreed to it since everybody basically wanted him to be. People were even willing to call him "Your elected Highness" and he was like "Nah fam I'm not that special call me Mr. President." Sure the guy wasn't perfect, but damn we got INCREDIBLY lucky with him.

Heres the specific quote in his farewell address regarding the two party system:

"...However [political parties] may now and then answer popular ends, they are likely in the course of time and things, to become potent engines, by which cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the power of the people and to usurp for themselves the reins of government, destroying afterwards the very engines which have lifted them to unjust dominion."
