Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Seeing President Biden speak is like watching a rusty set of gears and watching in anticipation as it manages to creak itself to work.

He has one thing Obama doesn’t however, he is such an unmitigated disaster he is at least entertaining.

Worst part is, so many anti-Trump people STILL adamantly and vitriolic-ally believe the country “will be better for it” with Biden still in charge.

Given the state of our country I feel even more sorry for these people. Imagine leaving wartorn Afghanistan and coming to "america the shining city on a hill" and seeing troons, marxists, and other degenerates parading through the streets, niggers beating elderly and invalid innocents, and a government doing it's best to suck Xinnie the Pooh's inverted micropenis out of its husk.

These Afghans might become some of the first immigrants brought here that illegally immigrate TO Mexico.
Just saying.... Osama bin Laden was a US ally until he actually went to the US.

I unironically wish for the country to get worse, much worse. The only thing that will rid us of this cancerous progressive movement is pain sadly.

The way the Catholic hierarchy has acted, especially during the pandemic, has meant that a lot of Catholics became trads because we were the only ones who kept our churches open, and bad bishops like Cupich only fuel that. There will probably be an actual schism in the future between the Catholics and the people who want "communism with hymns". I don't know what will cause it, but I'd guess that the German bishops pushing for gay "marriage" and priestesses will probably be the spark that lights the fire.
I'm not Catholic, but I felt really bad when the Pope cracked down on Latin mass recently. But it's not a unique problem to the Catholic Church; the same split has happened in every Protestant line. "Fundamentalist" is considered a dirty word, but it became relevant 100 years ago when the Baptists could see what the modernists were trying to do to the faith and preemptively said there were fundamentals that could NOT be negotiated, such as Jesus ACTUALLY performing miracles and rejecting the idea that it's just all metaphorical. Today, everything the Baptists predicted has come true, and it's the fundamentalist/trad churches that are holding firm and doing alright, even if they're only sluggishly growing, they're still stronger than the slush of Jesuits/Episcopalian/unitarian numpties who want that Moral Therapeutic Communism.

Gov. Northam not requiring newly immigrated Afghans to get the jab

Northam makes me MATI. This quote ... is insane. Enemy of the people.

I am starting to become more curious about these people's professional competence history.
What you said reminds me of a passage in Ender's Shadow where Graff and Anderson were reading one of Bean's essays and how the Battle School promotes good-looking mediocrities.

Ender's Shadow page 212-13 said:
Graff: This time [Bean is] mostly wrong, because he has no way of knowing how nontraditional our recruitment of faculty has always been. But he may also be a little bit right. Because our system of testing for officer potential was designed to produce candidates with the traits identified in the most highly regarded officers in the Second Invasion.
Dimak: Hi-ho.
Graff: You see? Some of the highly regarded were officers who performed well in battle, but the war was too short to weed out the deadwood. The officers they tested included just the kind of people he criticized in his paper. So...
Dimak: He had the wrong reason, but the right result.
Graff: Absolutely. It gives us little pricks like Bonzo Madrid. You've known officers like him, haven't you? So why should we be surprised that our tests give him command of an army even though he has no idea what to do with it. All the vanity and all the stupidity of Custer or Hooker or -- hell, pick your own vain incompetent, it's the most common kind of general officer.

As our Best Stalin had pointed out, what good are those decorations if you can't tell who's competent and who's deadwood? Especially when the wars that have been fought for the past twenty years willfully and constantly ignore Sun Tzu's basic precepts. Even without woke stupidity, the officers that made it up the chain were people that looked good in uniform, but never actually had to produce results. Take that infamous jumping jacks video. Everyone laughs at how they can't do them, but listen to the trainers speaking in English. How many US training officers know basic Pashto, Dari, or Farsi? That's partially a teaching failure too. But it doesn't matter for the careerist, it looks good on a resume.

It's not even an officer problem either, but a problem that infects the Center Left as a whole. They want Obama as a leader, even though the results he actually produced were garbage. Their problem now is they've chased out anyone who could have been competent like Surf Mommy* or Bloomberg.

*Actually, I think Tulsi is the kind of mediocrity I'm criticizing. It's just that the wokeness of her party made it so she couldn't say and think the right things.

I've been saying this for weeks. This is necessary for children and teens to witness. So when they turn 18, they don't get any cute ideas about social justice, equity, or diversity for a GOOD, LONG while.

Also: Having COMMA--LAAAAAAAAH in the POTUS seat will fuck our shit up so hard, all you'll ever have to do is utter "Biden" or "Harris" anytime someone gets cute and even thinks of voting for a democrat to fill the local county clerk seat. Scorched Earth all the way.

Good, the previous people who had them were using them to play Pokemon Go for Bussy.

The thing about Latin Mass is there is no reason to crack down on it. Who fucking cares about people who just want to worship like they did 100 years ago. They aren't saying anything spooky in Latin, they aren't criticizing the Pope or Papacy, they're just doing what they have always been doing since the time of, you know, the old Roman Church.

It is one of those "how to cause schism" decisions that seems utterly brainless. Nobody benefits. Nobody.

Uh, no. Joey was never entertaining. He started by stopping the pipeline, immediately raising gas prices, and has just kept on with his rank incompetency. Now we have at least 13 Americans dead due to his idiocy.

Joey, Coward-in-Chief, is the worst President ever, after just barely over seven months in office. He makes every President since James Buchanan look good by comparison.

Catholicism in America has pretty much transformed into its own thing despite still considering the pope the ultimate authority this is because of the small isolation from Europe influence that followed all the wars of independence.
Unlike in Europe where they have direct guidance and supervision from the Vatican what goes and what doesn't in American Catholicism pretty much depends on the region, all you need to get an idea is to see what happened in Mexico where the biggest religious figure is Saint Mary the mother of Jesus Christ when she's was just a minor character originally in Mexico she's praised equally if not higher than Jesus himself
are you under the impression that Marian devotion is some kind of Mexican innovation

It's much more petty than that. There's a persistent boomer notion that Sacred Tradition is "out of touch" or "uncool".

Except this has proven counterintuitive, because "how do you do, fellow kids?" evangelization seldom works. Parents, rather than taking the time to be Catholic role models, think they can outsource catechizing their kids by dropping them off at Catholic school or youth group. Some 90% of raised-Catholic kids fall away of the Church when they go off to college.

Arguably Lincoln had the single most disasterous first term. The Union quite literally flew apart at the seams when he took the office. Lincoln at least had the courtesy to win the war he started.

Sleepy Joe can't even be bothered to do that.

Edit: Posting broke on me for a second. Very sad. Many such cases.
