All Sana need to do is some draw stream like Ina. She can spice things up by talk about normies stuff and shit posting with her arts then she would be good. If Ina was busy with her priestess duty, I can see Sana is even busier and streaming probably not her priority at the moment.

I have 2 rrats regarding the owl 🦉:

1/ She’s a genuine natural born air head who does not know about internet culture despite warning from veteran like Amelia (I doubt Ame did not warn someone as high profile as Gura like her)

2/ She knew about it and playing with fire in order to grow faster (the more the nip dig up and push their rrats out, the more people will check her out). Plus her character is an “aho girl” archetype so it’s easier to play dum.

It's... completely different than actors and voice actors. The performer is the character, the person behind the avatar is the content, or at least more than 60% (allowing for exaggeration, roleplay, etc).
That doesn't conflict with the fact that their social life is still none of our business, and deranged gachis should still decorate their necks with nylon.

I like Sana a lot already, and I hope she doesn't get discouraged. You bring up a good point: the strong accent is either inconsequential, or a charm point, for us EOPs -- but I've been seeing some comments that ESL HoloEN fans find her accent harder to understand, probably because most ESL learn American English. A better mic could help, but audio quality is only as strong as its weakest link, and that includes the fan's speakers/headphones.

A testament to how competitive the industry is, this girl's got some serious skill and range (ok fine I know nothing about music but I think she sounds good), and the cover she released today is under 1k views.
That's entertainment for you I guess.

A better comparison would be show hosts in that case. People like Johnny Carson or Bob Barker were just themselves; they were playing a role to an extent but their identities were always public. They were never afraid of getting doxed. You can say the same about streamers like PewDiePie.

Vtubers are playing more of a role than show hosts - cartoon avatars, fantasy backstories, altering voice and mannerisms, etc - so I think it's still appropriate to keep that distinction in mind between their produced content and their actual lives.

It's not just me that's noticed this bastard been in quite a few Pippa streams now. Aslong as he don't do anything dumb, I'm sure it will be fine, but yeah. Keeping eye on him, after the shit he pulled on gura now, but we not going to go into that again for the 8th time now. That's what the search function is for.
