Rate me powerlevel here but I'm not an internet person (tm). I work for the government with a hands-on physical job, think road construction, but not that. I work with a bunch of guys that are basically licking doorknobs to get 2 weeks paid vacation for a positive corona virus test. Jim pretty clearly had thought out what he was going to say a lot. As I said earlier, there's a decent chance this is the last time we'll hear him talk live, and he knows that too. I think everyone calling the stream just another doomer-pill episode totally missed the point. This is the opposite of nihilism. A recognizition that things are fucking shitty does not mean you have to live as a depressed doomer. Things are shitty, yeah. Everyone who isn't hiding from that reality can see it. But engage with it, laugh at it, because it really is funny.
