I didn't say giving children love was a bad thing, but Barney isn't really the best way to go about approaching it. Again, I have no problems with its target demographic liking the show, as long as they grow out of it. That's what's important.

Slightly Off-topic, but I knew a kid in HS who was like Barneyboy here, except he had an all consuming hatred of the Macarena song. I just remember that a bunch of dudebros would often start singing the song and even do the dance around this kid.....and he would chimp out about it. Every.Single.Time.
