I believe he said he wasn't just going to pull the plug abruptly and that he would do a final stream of it, but I don't think that's what that last stream was?
I suppose the Flight Sim streams are the closest he can get to not playing a game and just talking for a couple of hours, so if he still makes close to 100 bucks out of it it'll be worth it.

I remember him saying that his final stream would be him flying over his house and the Renton area. Not sure if he's done this yet, I can't watch as his FS streams give me so much sensory deprivation that I just lose the will to live.

See I think he probably did get the Raid sponsorship but it involved using a code. If you have seen those sponsorships, they say use a certain code when joining to get some in game currency. From what I have learned about these kinds of sponsorships with lesser channels is that they don't get paid on just putting their product in a video but they will get paid based on the amount of people who join and use their code. So my thought on that is DSP looked at it and realized he would have to do a lot of work towards this sponsorship that probably wasn't going to pay so he just decided not to do anything with it and continue this grift

He flew over Seattle the stream before yesterday which was the "make or break" stream for flight sim.
srflem tipped 100$ out of a total of 152$ so the game was saved from the chopping block.

The flight simulator streams are honestly Phil’s worst streams. He isn’t even playing a game, he showcases how stupid he is not only by having no idea what anything is but also exposes his lack of historical or factual knowledge. Yesterday he declared that India was top 5 largest countries by landmass. Wtf? Anybody who has ever looked at a globe would know India is not that big.
The stream where he flew over Seattle was abysmal. It was disgusting how little he knew about the Seattle area despite living in it for over 7 years, which proves that he never leaves his condo.
If you do the math, Phil leaves his home once a week, for the past 7 years on average. That means since he has moved to Washington, Phil has only been outside his house less than 400 times. Think about that, for someone who is not severely physically disabled, he just hides in his home. I get the theory is that he is terrified of the trolls finding him or he is just straight up too lazy to leave his house, but god damn, doesn’t he at least want to see some of the nature of the state?
The beaches? No, Phil hates beaches. The old growth forests? No, an animal could attack him! The volcanic mountain glaciers? No, the volcano could erupt unexpectedly! Perhaps the peaceful prairies out in Okanagan? No, that sounds like there might be native Indians there.
What I am getting at is Washington is a beautiful and boundless state in terms of things to see and do. And to hear a 40 YEAR OLD man act like there is nothing to see or do, is honestly quite depressing.

i've seen quite a few ppl shill raids and there's a couple of things I noticed, and since it hasn't been brought up, maybe it'll be interesting to note the structure of what kind of offer he was given, but we'll never know exactly what $$ he was offered

the lower end content creators are usually offered affiliate deals, where they get paid per download, i.e when someone uses their link to download the game and complete the tutorial, or reach level 5, or some variation of that

I don’t think he necessarily lied about it. DSP could be diddling kids, and they’d still offer him a deal if they thought it’d bring new players.

Some Chinese gacha RPG company doesn’t give a fuck about DSP and his rep.

OTOH: What the fuck would DSP have to gain with it? Surely even his little pigroach brain realizes that he has way too few viewers to earn that 150$ for new signups.

So yeah... I’d say there’s a reasonable chance they offered it, DSP realizes he wouldn’t make money off it, and chose to flash his “REEL AND HAHNEST GAMER” credentials instead.

To be fair, there is nothing to do, anywhere, for a man who despises and fears other people and whose preferred activities involve drinking alone and spending money he apparently cannot afford to spend.

For what he paid Phil could have bought land in North Dakota and had a comparatively palatial home built and be surrounded by nothing and no one on all sides and live life identically as he is now or possibly better if he’d decided to have a more modest place constructed.

The irony of course is that however much he hates them Phil is nearly completely dependent on other people. He can, just barely, feed himself. He cannot repair or maintain anything. He does not and could not grow his own food. He will within the next five years almost assuredly require recurring specialized medical care. I personally cannot wait for Phil’s health, marriage and condo begin to collapse one right after the other.

Nah, Phil definetely lies about the clothing line and brought everything else up as hypothetical examples.

He even mentioned himself that someone might “sell a few hundred more controllers” thanks to a sponsorship with him.

He may be dumb and fucking lazy, but he’s also been in the kahntent business long enough to know that he’s pretty worthless with his tiny following.

Here's a fun fact (or well, two) about the Colosseum. It could have up to 80k people in attendance, which makes it about as large as the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, the second largest stadium in Spain and among the top 50 sports stadiums in terms of max attendance today. Dave is probably so fucking stupid that he doesn't know that the huge chunks of the Colosseum that are missing are missing because they crumbled, he probably thinks it's because it was the artistic (more like autistic) vision of whoever designed it. In fact the only amphitheatre that has all of its walls (mostly) preserved is the one in Pula.

Second fun fact, people usually associate amphitheatres with gladiatorial bouts, but there were other kinds of entertainment showcased, including mock naval battles called naumachia. You read that right, the fuckers actually flooded the Colosseum and created special flat-bedded prop ships just so they can see convicts clobber each other to death. As you can imagine though, shit was expensive. You had to wait decades between each naumachia.
