It's kind of hard to remember now but right before covid it was starting to feel like we were building up to a Western Spring.
Obviously I have no faith in people but we had Yellow Vests, Korea and Hong Kong in succession that were getting people inspired (also, other shit that devolved into garbage not worth mentioning)... and rather than optimism here you have to think from the perspective of a spineless kleptocrat of the sort we should bring gibbet cages back for and decorate Canberra with.

I was in Melbourne right before covid when the "climate protests" happened and it was like a North Korean military demonstration of force. They brought cops in from the whole state and I am not exaggerating to say they had vehicles and pigs lining both sides of the street from one end of the CBD to the other, so thick they could have been holding hands.
I didn't see a single protester (and since they had a dumb name like Climate Jihad or some shit I suspect they were a false flag anyway) but yeah, this all happened at a very convenient moment in time and of course they don't want it to end.

Scomo has been going on about this for weeks, they're saying they'll reopen only once the 80% of the population is fully vax'd. Only about 37.3% is currently fully vaccinated.

Generally, the number of cycles run by the PCR systems is 45, however this can vary depending on the machine or assay used. Generally the cut-off or threshold is set at a Ct of 40. However as mentioned above this is set by the manufacturer’s instructions as well as the validation processes required by all Australian laboratories.
