I ve gotten into some heated "debates" with friends over trump. To the point where we are polite and dont talk about it anymore.
What brings their ire on me is that I maintain that trump was merely a symptom of GOP making the Obama years about "Obama Bad" and not having a platform.
Trump a reality tv show host who was able to clown all the other nominees who the media just laughted at and with up untill he won. Then he became ULTRA SUPER MEGA HITLER!!.
Then we had 4 years of orange man bad and the democrats not doing any soul searching, and just well having people saying they werent voting for biden they were voting against trump.
I m waiting for all this to play out but I look forward to going to my friends and pointing out that its not enough to be against something. Trump was never the cause of all the problems, and him going away didnt make things better it made things worse because the alternative was a old man who wasnt up to the job. But the establishment and media basically ran propaganda for him.
