Science EXCLUSIVE: Dr. Fauci Used Taxpayer Money to Have Dogs Tortured and Eaten Alive By Parasite Infected Flies in Tunisia (PHOTOS) - I FUCKING LOVE SCIENCE

The White Coat Waste Project, a taxpayer watchdog group, has provided The Gateway Pundit with new examples of Dr. Anthony Fauci facilitating cruel and unnecessary taxpayer funded experimentation on dogs — this time in Tunisia.

Documents uncovered by the organization found that the National Institutes of Health division that is led by Dr. Fauci shipped part of a $375,800 grant to the lab in Tunisia to infest beagles with parasites.

The grant money funded a study published last month that detailed the horror inflicted upon the unlucky dogs.

One of the tortures that the beagles were subjected to included locking their heads in mesh cages filled with infected sand flies so that the parasite-carrying insects could eat them alive.

Beagles are often used for these tests because of their gentle nature, even towards those who harm them.

There was a photo of the test, which is sure to haunt anyone with a conscience.

According to their paper, the scientists starved the sand flies in order to make sure they were hungry enough to attack the dogs.

“The sand flies were then allowed to feed on the sedated dogs….” the report explains.
The nightmare for dogs did not stop there. The experimenters locked beagles alone in cages in the middle of the desert, isolated, for nine consecutive nights, to use as bait to attract more infectious sand flies. There is also a photo of this horror.

“Fauci’s dog testing debacle is now an international disgrace. Not only is Fauci paying for beagle abuse here at home, but he also shipped our tax dollars overseas to have beagles eaten alive by insects in an African lab with no oversight from U.S. authorities. Taxpayers shouldn’t be forced to foot the bill for this government waste and abuse. Congress must take action to investigate the full extent of Fauci’s dog testing debacle,” Mackie Burr, Director of Digital & Grassroots Development at the White Coat Waste Project said.

The article’s “Funding Statement” confirmed that it was given money by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and that NIH funding was given to the lab in Tunisia.

“EZ and AS received funding from the US National Institutes of Health,” according to the grant. “EZ” is one of the paper’s co-authors, Elyes Zhioua, from the Institut Pasteur de Tunis, Tunis, Tunisia. “AS” is Abhay Satoskar, from Ohio State University.

White Coat Waste Project pointed out that on the NIH’s website, Zhioua is listed as the co-PI on the grant along with Satoskar.

White Coat Waste Project, using the Freedom of Information Act, recently revealed that Fauci spent $424,000 to commission another study in which healthy beagles were given an experimental drug and intentionally infested with flies that carry a disease-causing parasite that affects humans.

The researchers are developing infections in 28 beagles and allowing them to suffer for three months before being euthanized.

The report from White Coat Waste Project explained that records show that the dogs were “vocalizing in pain” during the experiments.

The organization also noted that experimenters admit this investigational drug, “has been extensively tested and confirmed…in different animal models such as mice…Mongolian gerbils…and rhesus macaques….” Meaning that this painful torture is completely unnecessary.

In a letter sent to Fauci last week, Congressman Scott Perry and 14 colleagues cited their investigation and demanded answers about the project — including has much money has been spent to date, how many dogs have been killed, and why the NIH commissioned the deadly dog testing when the Food and Drug Administration has said it’s not required.

The letter was signed by Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ), Ken Calvert (R-CA), Madison Cawthorn (R-NC), Rodney Davis (R-IL), Louie Gohmert (R-TX), Diane Harshbarger (R-TN), Yvette Herrell (R-NM), Fred Keller (R-PA), Brian Mast (R-FL), Bill Posey (R-FL), Greg Steube (R-FL), Glenn Thompson (R-PA), Randy Weber (R-TX) and Daniel Webster (R-FL).
In 2016, White Coat Waste exposed how Fauci’s NIH division was using tax dollars to buy beagle puppies and strapping capsules full of infected flies to their bare skin.

Fauci and the NIH have also been under fire for using American tax dollars to fund the Wuhan Animal Lab’s coronavirus experiments on bats and other animals.

I understand why the test was conducted. However, the emotional side of me is particularly sensitive and the cynical side to me says: "Awesome, more reasons to kill stray dogs in an inhumane way."

Fauci is a slimy piece of shit bureaucrat who is deeply in love with himself and the power he wields, but this is manipulative journalism. The realities of animal testing are ugly. Without powerleveling, I have directly observed animal testing in my field of work. What I have observed was less brutal than this, and I'm far from an animal rights activist, yet it still gives you moral pause.

Animal testing is likely a net good, but that doesn't make it feel good. There's plenty of better reasons to hate Fauci than funding animal tests.

have a feeling that the OP article can't do any of these things either, feels more like an attempt at cheap emotional manipulation to rile up people against fauci by any means necessary. and i'm not a fan of fauci or his vax positions, but i'm also not a fan of sleazy journalists and ngo activists pushing propaganda like this, so fuck this shit altogether

it's a trump-puts-kids-in-cages-tier tactic and story and it's not going to change anyone's mind on fauci on either side of like or dislike.

It doesn't matter to me whether Fauci or somebody else headed these experiments - they shouldn't be fucking happening in the first place. White Coat Waste Project exists to warn people that their tax money is being used for unethical, useless, and cruel experiments like this. I have an old book called Victims of Science by Richard D. Ryder that details all of the various experiments we have put countless animals through for dumb shit like cosmetics and psychological studies. Ever heard of the monkey being stuck in a small, dark isolated chamber for weeks? Fuck that. Fuck anybody who goes through with shit like that, for the sake of research.

As for the dogs used in this experiment, there are organizations dedicated to helping them. The Beagle Freedom Project is the most well-known one that I'm aware of that rescues beagles after they've been used in labs to give them some semblance of a life. These poor dogs are often afraid of stepping out onto a grassy field since they've never touched it before, and weren't meant to. Imagine breeding beagles, socializing them as puppies to get used to handling, then sending them off to labs where you know they'll be tortured or spend years never getting to be a normal dog. That's a hell sentence right there.

Fauci
Bug chaser and dog killer
Man jews are really gay and evil

whether it works in mice, mongolian gerbils and rhesus macaques doesn't necessarily predict whether it works in dogs

im obv not a professional medical experimenter, i can't judge whether this research was done properly or not, i can't speak to whether it was necessary/useful or not. but i have a feeling that the OP article can't do any of these things either, feels more like an attempt at cheap emotional manipulation to rile up people against fauci by any means necessary. and i'm not a fan of fauci or his vax positions, but i'm also not a fan of sleazy journalists and ngo activists pushing propaganda like this, so fuck this shit altogether
I mean, it's great you trust the science and all, but I'm gonna need more than "I feel like this article is lying" to justify why almost 400K of my tax dollars are going to assbackwards african labs so they can feed some dogs to flesh eating flies for 3 months. Especially when other agencies, also full of scientists, are telling Fauci to not bother.

No one asked for this. So why am I paying for it?

Fauci could eat a baby alive on livestream, and they'd praise him for his progressive, Scientific™️ embrace of kid-veal.
Modest Proposals are only mental illness when it makes the squad look bad, after all...

And because people these days are uncultured swine, somehow Modest Proposals are never satire anymore... Both because nobody gets the reference, and because people don't know the difference between satire and fake news.

I mean, I realize I'm probably being some shade of racist here, but I feel like even if you ignore the feeding the dogs to the flesh eating flies thing, the statement would still apply. I feel like I'd want American tax dollars to fund American researchers in America? Partially so that the money is spent on Americans, and partially because then we have at least some ability to legislate limits over the research. Mandatory IRBs and the like.

Kind of like the argument about environmentalism, manufacturing, and China. If America takes manufacturing back from China, then American emissions will go up. But global emissions will go down because we can legislate it and we aren't such pollution goblins.

Medical testing on animals is a moral and ethical minefield, but don't compare it to factory farming animals. Killing animals for harvest doesn't require torturing them.
Agreed that ethically, this experiment is dubious. Without the full context of what the experiment is on, we're left with the knee-jerk reaction and an assumption that it's automatically bad.

I assume it's a test on the sandfly parasite's life cycle, as well as how to arrest development of the parasite/kill it. Maybe they want to experiment on how infected sandflies choose their hosts/targets.

“has been extensively tested and confirmed…in different animal models such as mice…Mongolian gerbils…and rhesus macaques….” Meaning that this painful torture is completely unnecessary.
This is not a guarantee that the same drug will be metabolized in all animals the same way, unlike more "conventional" drugs such as insulin (which is derived from pigs). Hell, even the same drug will affect humans differently just because humans are that 0.1% different from each other.

I get the point of doing that sort of experiment if you were actually going to administer the treatment/cure after they were infected. But the extent that they did this seems more like sadist murder porn.

I wonder if Fauci keeps his animal torture videos on the same hard drive as his Shota and child porn. 🤔

Case A: Infect dogs with parasites, test drug
Outcome 1: Drug works, many dogs tortured and then killed
Outcome 2: Drug does nothing, many dogs tortured and then killed
Outcome 3: Drug is poisonous, many dogs tortured and then killed

Case B: Tell veterinarians to test drug on dogs that come in with parasite infections
Outcome 1: Drug works, no dogs tortured or killed
Outcome 2: Drug does nothing, no dogs tortured or killed
Outcome 3: Drug is poisonous, some dogs unfortunately die from unforeseen side effect

I believe you can follow the logic for why case B is better.
