I'm guessing a 14-point greater sample in people who identify as Democrat over Republican in that poll.
I know there are more registered Democrats than Republicans nationwide, but it's not nearly a 14-point advantage. More like two or three points, which means that they're oversampling Democrats to get rosier results for Sleepy Joe.

There were 14 percentage points more Democrats in the polling group than there were Independents/Republicans.
It's called "over sampling", and pollsters have been doing this to manipulate public opinion/demoralize opposition for decades.

Yes, it means they polled 14% more Democrats than Republicans. The majority of the registration gap between Democrats and Republicans comes from California and New York City, outside of those places the difference is 1 or 2 points. This is why pollsters try to weight their results but idiots will still do D+14 just to get a 1 point majority.

I think California will be a canary in the coal mine for the Dems. If Newsom gets recalled, they're probably gonna start fretting midterms. If Newsom wins, they'll probably cruise through the midterms only to be worken up by a large red wave. Not a gigantic one.

Given how badly this administration has fucked up with forever wars, teaching toxic shit in schools, handling of the kung flu, destroying jobs and shipping jobs overseas as well as destroying womanhood itself.
I do agree the Republicans need to abandon abortion rights because it's becoming a lost cause and many new voters that Trump brought in, don't care about muh Jesus in abortions.
However if Roe v. Wade is what it takes to save the Democrats then this country is fucked beyond all hope as muh abortion while their leaders bomb sand babies overseas.

I disagree many of Trump supporters are pro-life. Honeslty as a pro-lifer I disagree with those who say that abortion will save Democrats. Pro-Choicers are actually a minority.

I believe making it a states rights issue is the best case as California will probably allow abortions for everything and Mississippi will do a blanket ban on abortions. Now if Mississippi does not blanket ban it then the abortion debate has been won by the left.
