We need to stop worrying about optics and play dirty right back. When we're in control again punish the guilty mercilessly publicly, make it clear what happens when someone does these things. Then set up the safeguards against it happening again. Look at Texas, they're actually punishing voter fraud and passing laws to prevent circumvention of the established voting process.
