US Joe Biden News Megathread - The Other Biden Derangement Syndrome Thread (with a side order of Fauci Derangement Syndrome)

Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

That's not necessarily true. The last few impeachments were for frivolous reasons. Giving a list of Americans to the Taliban and abandoning hundreds (by their own admission) of others and giving billions in arms to the Taliban is not frivolous.

I developed a visceral hatred for this man after he left Americans to die. I'm not just pissed but to borrow a phrase from my grandma, I’m spitting mad.

I want him out but if we try to impeach him without the votes, we just turn him into a martyr and he'll gain support.

I had a rather infuriating run in with some NPC’s this week. Everything is Trump’s fault and because I criticized their geriatric senile golden calf, I was a racist (the logic is a bit lost on me at this point). Everything bad was Trump's fault and any criticism of Biden was either ignored, deemed racist or they just started screaming about Trump.

If I thought that Kamala wasn't a sociopath and would help those people we abandoned, I'd be all about impeachment because this country has abandoned our citizens and told the world that you can kill us and we won't do a damn thing. Unfortunately, she is a sociopath and she couldn't give a fuck less about anyone aside from herself and her own political ambitions.

I'm not @Gehenna and I have no expertise in this area.

What I do know is that if this cocksucker won't do the right thing and help those we failed, I want him to suffer. This man has aspired to the presidency since before I hit puberty. I want these next 3.5 years to be as painful as possible for him. I want him to face bipartisan congressional inquiries into his incompetence. I want him to face constant leaks that force the press to ask him questions his mental state can't handle. I want the one thing that he aspired to his whole life to turn into a living hell and I want it to get so bad for those associated with him that they slide the knife in and hit him with the 25th Amendment. I want his last sentient thought to be remembering that he was the most reviled President in the history of this country.

I know I'm A-Logging, but I want this man to suffer for what he's done and a failed impeachment is too good for the likes of him.

At a minimum, though, they could try filing impeachment articles or make moves to force the resignations of people like Blinken or Austin.
I've heard a few of the more rational conservative (as opposed to straight up rinos) congresscritters say diplomatically "at the moment they run both chambers, there's not enough breakaway dems (yet) to do anything significant, we can probably get some embarrassing hearings at shit to prime the pump for 2022"
there seems to be a vibe that things might get so massively toxic around Sleepy Joe that they might break away enough people to do something of use, they're not there yet, but there's not a total dismissal of that arriving on the table
again, mitch might bitch but if there's any amount of dems on board that would mean the uniparty has turned or things are THAT fucking desperate that mitch might bitch in the other direction because if it's not the uniparty calling the shots with any serious number of dems turning then the writing is on the wall and the writing is in blood with expectation to make more writing (in congressional minecraft)

NPCs have always been pawns; disposable yet serve as a psychological impediment towards advancing. Impeachment serves to put Biden in check and that will cause more panic as he throws bodies--potentially valuable ones like his secretaries or the VP--to protect himself. Impeachment doesn't have to lead to anything, but the reputational damage of Republicans reading the charges of providing material aid to the Taliban will force his entire administration to panic. At this point, Republicans should straight up call Mitch a traitor too and bully him to their side. Why? Because this shitstorm is not going away and spreading it around will get the uniparty to break ranks.

EDIT: Also, remember that McConnell is based in Kentucky. Once they're convinced he's no longer the least bad option, he can get Joe Crowley out of his seat. Now, whose neck do you think he cares about? His or the Uniparty's?

Turtle Boy announced there will be no impeachment over Afghanistan.

And that is why they'll always be Republicucks.
Eh... I can see keeping Biden in. He's that gaping sword wound that Democrats internal organs threaten to spill out of. You keep him in and he's going to do something even more stupid. (I don't know how. I don't know what it could be. I just know that Biden can jump the Afghanistan Shark on a fucking jet pack if you give him time.)

And Kamala Harris is the sepsis that sets in even if Biden doesn't disembowel Democrats.

Yeah. Seeing Biden get shuffled out after all the cheating to get him in would be amazing. But seeing Biden be an agonizing barbed hook in every Democrats flesh will be even better.

>Biden calls the Afghan President telling him to lie about his country's ability to fight so he could announce he's ending the war in Afghanistan

Don't get your hopes up about the midterms or any election for the next ten years. America may be run by inept cowards, but they know how to protect each other.
I don't think they actually do know how to protect each other. That is what has the Cathedral's dander up. Every elite watched as the much vaunted U.S. Military and Intelligence services utterly bungle something that should have been simple at Biden's request. It seems like the system is so fragile that a few good pushes would break everything down completely.

As explained above, Biden is burning everything around him down. He will be radioactive in a few months.

yeah like I said, it is 8000% a cold and calculated political move but there is nothing leaving Biden to just flail around and vomit up his latest "maybe not quite a slur for black people" that hurts the chances in 22 or 24
Biden is just creating a highlight reel to run, and that puts the ball in the dem's court to try to deal with all the shit

I'd like to believe that's his reasoning since it is sound logic. But I also don't trust him to finally take his balls out of his purse if the midterms do go the way of a red wave, when the potential for an impeachment would be at its strongest.
It will go the Obamacare path

"We will Do it if we win the house"
"We will do it if we win the senate"
"We will do it if we win the presidency."

Save the energy for the midterms. There's still quite a bit of juice left in the riot storylines if/when the Democrats start gaining traction with their abortion tantrums.

Afghanistan turning into such a shitshow is just icing on the electoral cake that Antifa is baking for us
oh yeah the excuse of "welp, the dems own the legistlature! even the tiebreaking vote!" should be more than enough to smooth over anybody butthurt that they didn't revive Ken Starr from the grave

The U.S. Supreme Court refused to block a Texas law outlawing most abortions after six weeks of pregnancy, letting a measure that went into effect Wednesday remain in force as the strictest restriction in the nation.

Voting 5-4, the justices turned away calls from abortion providers to put the law on hold while the legal fight goes forward. The challengers said the measure will ban abortion for at least 85% of patients in the state and force many clinics to close.

The rejection marks a watershed moment, allowing a law at odds with Supreme Court precedents that protect abortion rights until much later in pregnancy. The majority said in an unsigned order that the challengers had “raised serious questions regarding the constitutionality of the Texas law” but hadn’t shown they could overcome a thicket of procedural questions about their lawsuit.

Chief Justice John Roberts joined the court’s liberals in saying he would have blocked the law.

The Texas law took effect Wednesday, causing abortion services to largely shut down in the state. Clinic officials said they had to tell most patients on Wednesday they were ineligible to get a legal abortion at a Texas facility.

The Supreme Court declines to block Texas abortion law. The ruling was 5-4 with Alito, Gorsuch, Barrett, Kavanaugh, and Thomas in the majority.
I'll never get the argument women make of "My body my choice"

Maybe stop letting dudes cum inside of you? Maybe only have sex with men that will wear condoms?

Its like when gay men complain about STDs/HIV. Maybe stop taking barecock after exchanging a few messages on Grindr?

This is more likely IMO, but even then it probably won't happen given it'll suck all the oxygen away and leave Biden looking innocent. The smart Republicans rightfully won't want to push this right now as it changes the public narrative and the competing administration cliques are currently fighting it out to determine who will take the fall (and who the RINOs will then jump at as prey).

Everything now is pretty much being set around the midterms so any further developments are very likely to fall on that timeline. We are in for the long haul at this point.
