General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

I am shocked Gura is that low in the superchat pull since she has at least triple the sub count of everyone, but she's barely in the top 20 for Hololive and wouldn't even be in the top 10 for Nijisanji.
Lets just admit that chumbuds are kinda..cheap; but hey, who knows how much she gets out of those memberships, sponsors, and holo projects. AfaIk, she seems pretty content with what she has.

In the mean time, is this IRyS' longest stream yet?
Ame, Gura, and Ina always tend to be on the lower end of holoEN superchats while Kiara and Mori reign over them. Most theories to that probably have to do with Ame, Gura, and Ina not really reading through all of their superchats directly after the stream. Ina's case especially because I rarely remember her ever going over superchats after she finishes a stream if ever. Mori will do a funny recorder tune and read some and Kiara just spends more time on superchat donation reading than the actual game streams from what I remember lol.

My Personal thoughts on Niji superchat earnings for August. Honestly the first time I've really paid attention to them and I'm rather surprised that 9 out of the top 10 for Nijisanji are all males. 4 of them being recent debutees (Lauren, Leos, Axia, Oliver). I've heard Lauren is fucking raking it in with money because he's got an Ikemen voice, knows a fuckton of boomer vocaloid songs, and also is good at video games along with being an Apex Predator. Likewise for Nijisanji EN, Selen is also killing it for superchats because she's cute, has a contagious laugh, is good at Apex, and is just fun to watch her play video games. Rosemi kind of lucked out near the end of the month with hitting 100k and getting the superchat rain during the Pico Park collab and the celebration stream the next day. Some Anons on NijiEN were calling her EN Rushia (Low subscriber count compared to her peers but fans with deep pockets). Pomu despite missing half the month is still top 3 of the 6 NijiEN talents, I'm sure her return stream had people empty their savings but its still rather impressive. Pomu also said during her membership opening stream she had 1600 members join that day. Petra being the low earner is rather disappointing but not really unexpected, she threw her focus early on appealing to her JP audience. Along with not really being into video games which relegates her into the kusoge/FOTM "Horror" game/Minecraft streaming. I hope with her 100 Mario challenge she did she realizes she has a niche of suffer-kino streams where she tries to play babby platformers and fail. I would honestly watch her suffer through Mario and other platformers like Kirby or something because it is weirdly entertaining.
I also had to edit the Indies/Misc list to add Kson in because the initial list from /vt/ didn't have her. She's still rolling in cash, even more so now that she isn't subject to 2 cuts of the cake.

Gura and Ina do the bare minimum when it comes to superchats, so it's not a surprise they don't get much there. Incidentally, according to the other stats, they're the two most watched of the EN.

Amelia being so low on superchats is odd, though. She constantly dedicates streams to superchats reading and interacts with her fans a lot.

I wouldn't say they're cheap. Don't forget that people crashed the Gura Nendoroid pre-order

Amelia is somewhat understandable since she did have a break for some parts of August.

It would have been nice if we can see the membership numbers as well so we get a complete picture of the overall profits.

Wasn't there a clip of a deep pockets viewer sending Risu a 1k supachat? So that one guy was responsible for about 66ish% of her Aug earning.
I think this numbers from info sites not a fully correct. I watch one stream of 70k subs indie vtuber and time to time counted superchats. After few days check playboard and it showed a lower amount.

Ame doesn't turn on her super chat every stream

Kronii has locked her roommate account, and will possibly start deleting old stuff. If there's anything worth saving you should do it now.

I just skimmed through her tweets quickly, and for some reason I can't go beyond 2018.
Some interesting (?) things:
- she watches videogamedunkey
- a fan of her killed himself and sent an email to her 24 hours after that (see spoiler below)
- a friend of hers died this year in May
- she's always been either really edgy or straight up depressed
- even if she was a no-one, she had to take a break because some people were criticizing her owo videos
- she took breaks because she got "tired of socializing"
- someone she knew commited suicide in June 2019. Jesus, how many mournings did she went through?
- she plays Smash Bros
- she took Japanese classes in 2019
- she made a joke about being able to do a voice ten years on tabacco in 10 years, so maybe she smoked?
- her voice is on that horrible game that is Yandere Simulator :story:

I know shit about archiving so this is all I can do.

Curious about which tweets she finds cringe now.

That explains that "Mori" vibes I/we get from her. Kind of a mix of Sen too if we include such owo + some cringy past stuff

Meanwhile, Ina gonna try to be a swan and be a holobird
edit: Pardon me but Fauna already got the superchat?

I haven't really clicked with her streams yet, but I am happy she's still doing well. I'd imagine quite a few Holo members are watching her progress with interest.

(on a probably unrelated note, she recently became mutuals with Matsuri's and Mel's roommate's accounts on Twitter)
