that feeling you're having watching phil play Hades?

that's why i wrote those posts up about Divinity 2.
I had the same feeling watching him play Virtua Fighter. I remember writing guides for stream snipers so they can completely counter his playstyle but they were only one paragraph long because Phil was that one-dimensional in his shit gameplay.

it's why i've watched him for as long as i have.

granted it's not as good now as it was in the old days. but every now and then he still puts out a slapper for me.

I know this is a days old topic at this point, but regarding Phil saying that restaurants prepare food days in advance and it's called "prep"... he isn't entirely wrong. Minor PL but my dad worked as a chef in several restaurants so I have some behind da scenes knowledge of the restaurant biz. There is a type of restaurant that does prep days in advance, in the biz they're known as "failing restaurants" and curiously enough the most hardworking chef in every single one of them is some dude named "Mike" what a coincidence huh?
I watched enough Gordon Ramsey’s Kitchen Nightmares to known that prep work is done FOR THE SAME DAY.

(Even fucking McDonalds don’t operate like that, lol!)

The real Autismo is of course, that Phil isn’t running a fine Italian cuisine restaurant.

Nobody is going to come and pay him money for a meal, and Gordon Ramsey certainly isn’t roaming around his freezer muttering “What is this?! Bloody disgusting!”

Phil could have said: “Vegetables don’t go bad from being prepared a couple of days in advance, but it’s true Snowkarl, that they taste the best and freshest when you use them the same day. What can I say... Me and Khat aren’t running a restaurant ACK! ACK! ACK! To us I guess it’s worth it to lose a little bit of the freshness if it means less time prepping and cooking and more time together!”

And that would have been it.

But nope!

Phil just had to lecture chat on how he’s doing everything correct, discuss food prep for 5-10 minutes, and flex with his restaurant insights: “ITS CAHLED PREHPWORK!”

Phil’s ego is so fragile it can’t take the smallest of Ls. Even when it’s only in his own mind.

I guess it’s morahns and shitheads like you who have made Phil retreat to his safe space where 90% of the games he plays are easy single player games.

You’ve made Phil more boring but congrats!

What the fuck is even coming out that would be worth buying this year? I've got Pathfinder and then SMTV in November. I'm guessing he means call of duty 79 and far cy 6. Who the hell is even interested in those anymore? So fucking stale.
personally in the next few months i'll be getting metroid dread and smtv, with a "maybe" on fatal frame, astria ascending and some other random jrpgs

i think it was real fucking stupid of him to skip no more heroes 3, but phil's not exactly smart

dude it's just the silent majority viewers who prefer to watch the on demand content, they become members so that they can support the shtreams even though they're not always coming out to watch and interact live!!!
Speaking of “on demand” YouTube should fucking start CHARGING Phil for acting as his personal video library “fo da fans”.

6 hours of uploads over 300 days a year for 10-12 years? That’s gotta cost some serious money!

DSP is probably costing them money to host at this point, with the couple of hundred viewers each new upæoad brings.

Does the new Pathfinder look worth playing?
Playing it right now. It has a few bugs (as expected) but i'm having a ton of fun. Story is good. No more x days until doom bullshit. More options to make builds with. Overall so far in my first 10h I have only 1 big complaint and that's that i have to double click to interact with stuff for some reason.

The thing about seeing Phil play games that you’re very familiar with is that his excuses become even more hilarious because you know exactly how wrong he is.
I don't even need to play the games to know he is wrong. However, when he starts talking taxes, business, or the economy then I know how wrong he is about shit. I should probably play a game before he does and try to compare if he is worse with video games or taxes/business/economy with his takes though

"Either put the bare minimum amount of effort into your offerings or just say 'fuck it' and make everything about tips. Special events can be paywalled behind a monthly total tips goals. "

This will never happen because the last thing Phil will do is keep a running total for the month of his tips. Phil needs to keep a pig fog over all his earnings to play poor broke boy. His wheel chairs can know what he made for a stream but it needs to reset after the stream to keep up the illusion. Could you imagine if he had $6450 / $8000 monthly tip goal at the top of the screen? Yeah, never gonna happen!

(Dont know why i couldnt quote reply that post)

What is with this weird Karl clone thing going on? I see there are like 10 guys in Phil’s chat with Karl shoehorned into a name. How can a single viewer dominate a chat this intensely?
As much as the government wastes my tax dollars, I would approve of Uncle Sam wasting a few million just to do some studies on Phil’s chat and fat ass whales.
Have you seen matrix reloaded? Karl is to Agent Smith as the Goutsphere is to the Matrix

I KEEP TELLING YOU FAGGOTS WHY, BUT NOBODY BELIEVES ME!

There’s a ghost in the machine!

KiwiFarms code and servers are being haunted by the ghost of Barbussy for laughing at the only man to ever come out of her AND the only man to ever find her Gspot.

We need a priest to perform an exorcism. Or Sockness to do some magic, idk.

But if this continues, nobody will be able to reply to anybody!

I had an idea about DisasterStreamerPhils lemon PC. I recently bought a crap server (it's not, it's a workstation) off eBay for £50. A 2011 Xeon 1225 (3.1GHz, single thread quad core) with 4GB DDR3, a 160 mechanical hard drive and a FirePRO V4800! It came wiped with Windows 10 but... no. Was fast enough but I had a budget to spend. Put in a 120 SSD, 16Gb DDR3 (max it supports) and Windows 7. Actually a decent speed now. Total cost was under £100 ($140).

Installed OBS. Set the scene up with a webcam, stream elements overlay and a 1080 display capturing the desktop. Streamed it at 1080 to my YouTube channel while also recording locally at 1080. Just like DSP does. His begging overlay shouldn't take many resources. That electrical effect may add a little, but not much. He's using an external capture device which does all the processing, all his machine does is rebroadcast the feed. It's a bit more technical in that the image is moving and has a broader colour range. I only have internal capture cards so this is as good as I could do. Streaming and recording at the same time...

Rates at 8k,. More than enough for 1080. 60 FPS. CPU sat under 80% most of the time, occasionally spiking to 90%.

Tried again setting 30 FPS. CPU sat around 45% most of the time, occasionally spiking to 60%.

Seems all his problems can be fixed by using 30 FPS instead of 60. That was CPU streaming, the GPU was never used. Like you could do shit with a FirePRO! If people cared about quality they'd watch others streaming in 2k/4k. It's not like his garbage content can be used in future game documentaries because of the overlays and some brainless fugly guy pinned to the side.

Also noting that a £100 10 year old "junk" workstation from eBay seems to be as good as the lemon. At least for streaming. Not blaming the guys who built it, blaming the guy for running it in to the ground. For £30 ($40) I could replace the CPU with a hyperthreaded one and a slightly faster core. Essentially doubling the speed. Or there are old workstations on eBay at £200 ($280) with dual Xeon 5570's (2x hyperthreaded quad cores at 3Ghz). That would be around 4x the CPU power.

It's been bothering me for a while. Knew the problem wasn't with the PC. It's the idiot using it. No, I also didn't waste all that money to prove a point. If you consider that a lot of money? The machine is for a video series... that no one's going to watch.

I can sleep slightly better now.

What must it be like to be a person who owns so much yet understands nothing about how any of it works or how to care for any of it?

By the way this is another reason why Phil will never switch to PC gaming. If he can’t open a box, connect a power and HDMI cable to the fucker and have it work immediately, he’s effectively a babe in the woods. He’s never read a user’s manual or googled the solution to any problem, ever, and I wouldn’t give a shit except new shiny purchases not living up to his unrealistic expectations causes him to go on the internet and badmouth the handiwork of people who are so much more talented than him that they’re not even in the same ballpark, and I’m including the twelve year-old who soldered the GPU in his Series X in that statement.

It may seem like a minor point, because it is, but the “it doesn’t work the way I, an ignoramus, think it should” is a fucking plague of a mindset and what’s worse is the fallout always lands on poor people manning registers and tech support lines who have nothing to do with either how poorly the instrument was or was not built or how stupid the owner is.

Talking of Phil's garbage PC - Watching the TIHYDP of Telltale's The Walking Dead and his PC keeps stuttering even on a game like this. His PC also struggled to run Minecraft. Most of the issue stems from his refusal to update any drivers. Not only that but we've seen his "office", that place is dusty as fuck and I really doubt he's ever cleaned his PC or changed his thermal paste. Probably looks like a spider nest inside that PC and likely runs hotter than a McDonald's apple pie.
Remember to clean your PCs at least every 6 months.

Edit: Forgot something - He never turns his PC off either. That poor thing runs 24/7. Only restarts it when he has no other choice.
