It's about the same level of bias that the mainstream media has in favor of antifa. And this twitter user brings up the hammer story, which if I remember right was some guy inside a bus swinging at those trying to go at them, losing the hammer to antifa who then swung it or something, which Andy misrepresented as antifa having the hammer first, but regardless it was antifa trying to attack people in the first place with the dumbass trying to defend and then losing the hammer.
In the end, there been these two groups of dumb fucks wanting to fight each other for a few years now, but the astoundingly stupid part is that it's typically antifa seeking to start these fights which allow the larping right wingers to feel like martyrs. This happened recently with that "prayer rally" done by that Christian nationalist group and Polish-Canadian pastor. Rather than letting some idiots do their absurd prayer event in a park, antifa did as they'd be expected and started attacking people out of nowhere. The weird leftists and mayor know that's the case, so they often frame it as the right wingers 'instigating' these violent incidents because they know those right wingers showing up are aware they'll be attacked just for existing. Andy Ngo is biased enough that when reporting on such stories he'll ignore the obvious fund raising being done by the nationalist group and how they're a lot goofier than they may look on the surface, but it doesn't excuse the antifa people WANTING to be violent.
Pretending Andy is doing something all that weird is just plain stupid when the vast majority of journos and the local government are supporting a ridiculously biased version of events except twisted in the polar opposite direction. Andy at least serves a role providing the other side of the story so that people can try piecing together what actually happened at these gatherings of dumb fucks.

I am not a conservative. My praise of Ngo's journalism IS THAT he presents ANTIFA for what they are, while other media sits glow over their actions or straight up ignore them.
Out of all the right-wing journalists I've seen, Ngo is the most transparent without resorting much into sensationalism. And I despise right-wing journalism. As you said, I support his position on raising awareness on ANTIFA. That doesn't mean I love the guy.
