Seriously though, this is one of the things that just baffles me about TRAs. They constantly set themselves up for this sort of thing happening and blowing up in their faces. Their movement might as well be NABMLA at this point for the amount of sex offenders or sexual mischief they go to bat for. And or course, they seem to almost feel obligated to go out of their way to both defend and normalize it.

I'm going to be a bit controversial here and go against the KF grain on this issue, so sue me.

I believe that people have a right to express themselves in whatever way they so wish. If you want to say you are man or woman now, go for it, and I'll respect your stated pronouns as much as your name. Make it clear, and don't be wishy-washy.

However, there is a clear difference between a cisgendered woman versus a transgender woman, and visa versa for transmen and cisgendered men. A lot of transgender activists want to eliminate this difference in nomenclature by saying that "all women are women..." That's not right. Cisgendered women are women, but transgender women are a different kind of women.

Anyways that's the controversial piece I can't quite share with the rest of the world but I can only share here.
