Purely for shits and giggles, I quickly googled how much it would cost to replace the screen in that chrome book. It appears the answer is $75. Add to that that some eBay listings will throw in a cheap little toolkit to get the job done, sometimes even for free. I’ve replaced a few iPhone screens, and they almost always come with a toolkit. I’m drowning in the fucking things.

Also, I know this is a bit above some peoples’ pay grade, it’s just an interesting thought. How much is ace asking for to fix this problem, and what is the solution again?

probably a hundred yankee bucks and it’ll be fixed by someone who knows what they’re doing. But repair? Never heard of ‘er.

He's phased out his prior admission that he still has a chromebook I see. Just a reminder there, he doesn't need to even fix one. And why didn't you tell us before that you'd applied to a job when you broke your chromebook? Why has it taken so long for you to bring this up? He didn't apply to shit, but it's definitely a smart move. Too little too late really, his reputation is heavily damaged. But having applied for a job is far more sympathetic than his birthday. He brought up his birthday for the first time what, three days ago? Still in august. Impressive.

Whatever happened to the therapist idea?

So I’ve done a bit of math on this. It turns out that this is just about a six figure salary, and where I live, is exactly the average salary of, wait for it, a family doctor, and not a huge amount off the average salary of a lawyer.

I don’t know how my mind continues to be blown by this point.

The thing Lou's missing, why his fundraising is slowly dwindling, is that he doesn't do anything. He's not a furry artist or writer, or even a "personality" on Twitter.

Buying his silence only stops his begging; he doesn't do anything else of note. He wouldn't be stopping his research, tabling his activism, burning his novella or erasing the layers of glisten effect he was adding to a dripping werewolf cock.

All he does is whine and beg and occasionally try his hand at Discourse, but that's the same way a cargo cultist tries to build an airstrip.

His online presence is a lot like Jake Alley/Secret Gamer Girl, except the latter somehow has Patreon income, and has specified that it's journalism that he isn't doing.

Loug is so srs about this, he even dug out a gift card most likely forgotten, lying somewhere in the dusty hoards somewhere and now is selling it for full price.

Talking about animal genitals. Gross. Add that to the 'Lou is a Zoo' pile of evidence.

Oh, my poor minds eye, the mental image of Lou giving birth. :cryblood:

Why the fuck would anyone buy Louie's Nintendo gift card when they could cut out the middle man and just spend that money directly on Nintendo's online store? It would actually be more of a hassle to put the money on PayPal or whatever, transfer it to Louie, then wait for Louie to get up off his fat, lazy ass to ship the card...whenever that would be.

"I want people to be safe"...except for all the people who are truly in need that Louie has put at risk by scamming the money that SHOULD have gone to help them, but instead went to some stupid bullshit that Louie didn't need, but wasted the money on anyways. Louie will happily watch countless at-risk people starve, lose their homes, and even die so that he can continue to waste money on iPads, Chromebooks, and furfag fap art.

That's how Louis sees resales. I wouldn't be surprised if he believes the fact he touched something with his greasy mitts raises the value of it. Maybe his twisted logic makes him think the fact the buyer is supporting him is worth the extra time and money. Either way, he's sold new electronics for the exact price he bought it for, and occasionally for higher.

Given the fact he's now offered to be paid to stop being annoying twice, he may just think the fact he exists is deserving of reward.

I like that he's "just asking for face value." So for him to get $20 (which he no doubt expects), the sender would have cover the fees, and it would cost them more.

And they only get the code, not the card. No memorabilou value in that.

Not to mention that it looks grimy as hell. Look at that orange stain. What the fuck is that? I feel like if I touched anything that came from Lou's room, I'd end up hospitalized from some weird disease that hasn't been seen outside of rural Lebanon since the 1700s.

Lou pretends that this applies to him despite the fact that he's perfectly capable of doing things that have been suggested to him

Lou apparently took offense at being offered bariatric surgery in spite of the fact that he's morbidly obese. You'd think he'd at least consider it since a lot of doctors won't do that surgery on someone with your BMI thanks to the associated health risks.

Lou has also switched back to using their grey-colored gneech artwork, but it's at such a small size it leads me to believe he didn't save the original and this is taken from his telegram.

On the whole bariatric surgery thing -- Lou is just looking for an excuse to take offense. The doctor's recommendation isn't one that Lou has to follow through on, first of all. And what the doctor is really saying is "I want you to work with a bariatric clinic regarding your weight, nutrition, and exercise." They just suck at phrasing it because not all doctors are good with empathetic word choice.

Working with a bariatric clinic is not the worst thing in the world, even if Lou will never see it that way. Surgery is not the end goal at these clinics; a healthier weight and/or a lifestyle is the end goal. Surgery is just one of the many tools that they have available to get there. There is medication available that they can prescribe. They have diet plans that they can guide you through, and exercise plans that they can work with you on. The dietitians can discuss nutrition with you, and help you plan out better meals. If the clinic has a psychiatrist, they can work with you around mental health issues that impact your eating, including things like ADHD (tends to cause binge eating) and eating disorders (common cause of picky eating in adults, even and especially poor adults).

All of this could help Lou manage not only his diabetes, but also his depression. It would help him with his mobility. And I'd be willing to bet that some kind of positive progress like this would make his begposts more palatable to people for donation purposes. Ah, but what do I know? I'm just an evil New Zealand Agriculturalist.

No this is an all new re-paint! love the new ice blue eyes Lou! Here was the last rendition:

When will Lou be creative and make a true and honest fursona that reflects accurately his nature. A type of vermin/ parasite like a leach or cockroach. These generic don't reflect who he is.

I'm sure that his doctor is going to change his stance on Lou needing bariatric surgery because some fat retard on Twitter spewed some pseudo-scientific drivel.

RE Twatter MD. You know, I went and looked up heart disease and the CDC it turns out has a whole site dedicated to it: https://www.cdc.gov/heartdisease/risk_factors.htm

CDC says said:
Several health conditions, your lifestyle, and your age and family history can increase your risk for heart disease. These are called risk factors. About half of all Americans (47%) have at least 1 of 3 key risk factors for heart disease: high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and smoking.
Oh shoot! Is Twatter MD right? Does obesity have NOTHING to do with heart disease? Have we been wrong this WHOLE TIME?!

Oh! There's more to read, I notice, as I continue scrolling. Under a section called:

What health conditions increase the risk of heart disease?

CDC says said:
Obesity. Obesity is excess body fat. Obesity is linked to higher “bad” cholesterol and triglyceride levels and to lower “good” cholesterol levels. Obesity can lead to high blood pressure and diabetes as well as heart disease. Talk with your health care team about a plan to reduce your weight to a healthy level. Learn more about healthy weight.

I don't get the HAES crowd sometimes. I say it all the time, be fat and happy all you like, but stop trying to convince the world that fat is great for you and there are no draw backs. Like, what's the point? If you're right, you got to live your whole life as a fat ass who can barely make it up a flight of stairs, and if you're wrong you die young of a bunch of preventable diseases the whole world has been telling you from the get go you were going to die from. So where's the win?

Since I can't reply to @JaneThough, we'll do it this way:

Lou is taking at face value the fact that obesity itself is not a direct cause of heart attacks, especially because it fits his narrative of "I'm abused by my doctor because I'm fat," which he's using in an attempt to garner sympathy donations from the body positive crowd. Everything that the CDC lists under obesity as a risk factor is, in effect, a comorbidity that goes hand in hand with being fat.

You can be happy and relatively healthy at any BMI, but it requires taking care of yourself -- eating right, exercising enough, getting proper sleep, taking your medications properly, checking your blood sugars if you're diabetic, etc. The reasons that Lou's doctor continues to bring up his weight in a negative manner is because Lou is doing none of these things and he keeps confirming it to his doc.

I come from a family predisposed to obesity, and grew up poor, so I ended up as a pretty heavy adult, and it's been a LOT of work to get my weight under control. On top of that, my mother's family had a lot of heart problems, including numerous heart attacks, which I've had to take very seriously. I've had enough "Omg, heart attack!!1!" scares take me to the ER that I'm very serious about making sure my heart health is 100% (Cheerios is a go-to snack because they're delicious and heart healthy, for real). I honestly can't understand why Lou, who knows his own family heart history is poor, doesn't take the same consideration.
