@SouthernBitchBob

"I find this Karenbook post interesting for several reasons.
A) The replicability crisis and the stupefying conclusions that modern studies reach tell me that whatever the "experts" are practicing, it's rarely the scientific method.
B) Sheer probability gives me odds on having at least a standard deviation on the person who wrote this. I'm a polymath and I know how to read things. You'd be surprised how much I know about cellular interaction, radio technology, and the meta behind networking."

The best part, what does she say when the CDC is publishing things that confirm what the people on the internet have been saying about the ineffectiveness of the vaccines. See the most recent study on the cdc website. https://www.cdc.gov/library/covid19/08132021_covidupdate.html

The vaccine, according to the CDC doesn't effect transmission.

There's no reply button on @General Tug Boat's post above, but I noticed as of last night on the news that in Ontario they're been calling the passports "Vaccine Certificates." on CTV News (I don't know if this is a thing they're trying everywhere now.) I watched CTV (for non-Canadians, that's a major news network in Canada, maybe only behind the CBC) on Thursday and it was "passport" and then it abruptly changed yesterday. I can only assume that someone has figured out that "certificate" sounds less authoritarian despite it being no different in it application.
I prefer the term "papers or digital papers".

Oh I'm not complaining. I think deer leader is on vacation atm, well deserved. How a site like this stays up at all being constantly under attack is a minor miracle.

Yeah i figure its only a matter of time before the place is brought down.

I know it started off as a place to follow Chris Chan but its growth really is something else and its reaching levels of Infamy that are drawing lots of attention

Why did the number of beds drop by ~10k, going in to the pandemic, and never rising to pre-pandemic levels?

All the stories of full wards are bollox. Proven here by the NHS' own data.

Anti-lockdown activist who walked into hospital and filmed 'empty' wards is handcuffed in her dressing gown and arrested by police who turned up at her door

“The Herman Cain Award” subreddit is the most obvious troll farm Soros funded propaganda I’ve seen this past month.
I picture some hairy Slavic motherfucker eating sauerkraut straight out of the jar pretending to be Canadian or a Californian globohomo person.
I hope when this bullshit is defeated we do a complete turnaround and start shunning and bullying weak willed, snitchy soy creatures and exclude their asses from society as a whole. I want a new John Wayne. I want new comedy movies that are nothing but horny teens wanting to see tits.
I want smoking in restaurants again. Steaks. Dripping bloody meat. Manly men. All that shit.

You guys haven't hit ignore for the JNugz yet? Good lawdy hit that button already so the thread can go back to normal.

Trolls 101: they don't stop trolling until that precious attention is exhausted, hence the rule for no feeding.

Anyway I'm trying to laugh at all the covid bullshit you blue staters or god forbid foreigners are having to deal with. Continue. I believe we were at the part where Aussies were being forced to build their own internment camps.

Relevant Crosspost from C.S. Lewis:

“Three hundred years ago people in England were putting witches to death. Was that what you call the 'Rule of Human Nature or Right Conduct?’ But surely the reason we do not execute witches is that we do not believe there are such things. If we did—if we really thought that there were people going about who had sold themselves to the devil and received supernatural powers from him in return and were using these powers to kill their neighbours or drive them mad or bring bad weather—surely we would all agree that if anyone deserved the death penalty, then these filthy quislings did? There is no difference of moral principle here: the difference is simply about matter of fact. It may be a great advance in knowledge not to believe in witches: there is no moral advance in not executing them when you do not think they are there. You would not call a man humane for ceasing to set mousetraps if he did so because he believed there were no mice in the house.”

i honestly doubt he's trolling. he genuinely believes the things he writes.

Jnugz gonna get that 4th Jab lmao thinking we are the crazy ones still

You would never be exposed to Covid 4 times a year so enjoy the consequences of that

Israel is halfway done administering the 3rd shot, they are organizing and preparing for boosters again in December according to the papers in the country....tho december hasn't been annouced...tho the science says the so called "Mu" Variant will need a 2 - dose booster...thats what Moderna Told investors last friday anyway.

The CDC is closely watching Israeli data and seems to be about a month and a half behind before authorizing it in the USA.

So 3rd boosters will be authorized (and mandated lol) sometime middle of this month and the 4th shot probably before new years

@mdrop22 - I agree with much of what you said about online classes. I had to take a couple of them in the past and they were so easy that anyone with enough free time could have easily completed them in a week or less and not need the entire 7-8 week mini summer semester. The course was equal parts of learning the material and following written directions.

On a similar note, I wonder what happens with natural science classes. I believe most, if not all, universities in the US require students to have at least one semester of natural science with a laboratory component. While it wouldn't surprise me if some sort of waiver was granted to exempt students from laboratory sections due to COVID creating extenuating circumstances, it's also a shame in that there's more to the labs than conducting experiments. Properly collecting, reporting, and interpreting data are skills useful outside of a science lab (unless Socjus and IdPol has corrupted that now, as well).

It all ties into a point I made with someone offline that the schools and teachers are still getting their money while students are getting less education than they're paying for at full price when universities conduct courses online due to COVID.

considering you live in michigan i'm surprised this wasn't decided in like july
Unlike last year where Governor Whitmer issued executive orders like they were going out of style, she's been far more subdued ever since the state's Supreme Coourt declared one of the laws she relied on to be unconstitutional -- a law that was recently removed from the books via petition drive.

Some have speculated that a lawsuit by an activist parent group wanting sports to resume at the start of the year might have had an impact, along with other lawsuits that were threatened over testing/mask requirements proposed for the spring sports season. I have no idea how true that is, but Whitmer defintiely seems more hesitant since then to create executive orders or have the state health department use its own authority to invoke orders in the name of public health. Nevertheless, something had to have happened for her to go from the extreme of issuing many executive orders to the extreme of issuing what seems to be none.

Regarding schools, the TL;DR is that she decided to leave COVID protocols up to the schools and districts for the start of the 2021-2022 school year. While local control and decision-making might sound like a good idea, this still created a piecemeal approach because one district might require masks due to rising COVID case numbers while an adjoining district with similar numbers voted to not require masks. In response, some of the county health departments stepped in to order masks for all students attending school within that county.

They changed the definition of vaccine.

Definition of vaccine

1: a preparation of killed microorganisms, living attenuated organisms, or living fully virulent organisms that is administered to produce or artificially increase immunity to a particular disease

Definition of vaccine

1: a preparation that is administered (as by injection) to stimulate the body's immune response against a specific infectious agent or disease: such as
a: an antigenic preparation of a typically inactivated or attenuated (see ATTENUATED sense 2) pathogenic agent (such as a bacterium or virus) or one of its components or products (such as a protein or toxin)
b: a preparation of genetic material (such as a strand of synthesized messenger RNA) that is used by the cells of the body to produce an antigenic substance (such as a fragment of virus spike protein)
2: a preparation or immunotherapy that is used to stimulate the body's immune response against noninfectious substances, agents, or diseases
