So this is interesting. In the TRA’s move to soften the optics of sex crimes: They have hurdled over “No means bigot”, ran with “If someone indecently exposes themselves to you, its your fault for looking” and the batton has been passed for the “Rape: It rarely happens and when it does happen, was it really that bad?” Push…
Trans activist and the Chair of Sociology and Director of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion at the University of Sheffield thought it was wise to tweet this on her public platform.
I deleted a post earlier because I had peak Vanessa Evan Urquhart right in the middle of updating it but here was the worst take:
Vanessa wants to let you know that sexual assult and rape rarely if ever happen outside your home. In fact you’re far more likely to be the victim of a sex attack at home than out in public. If (the very rare) instance you happen to be raped or assaulted outside your home, Vanessa feels you’ve probably annoyed enough people making what happened all about you, so maybe consider not being a complete burden on society and not bother the criminal justice system with your nonsense.
Vanessa’s rape takes were hot and must have caused her to short circuit because before someone took her phone away Vanessa manages to spectacularly combine, incel logic, “I’m not like other girls” mode and “look pretty kitty cat” girl autism into one big thunk fail metaphor.
“OMG! Glen Greenwald rewteeted something I wrote!!…

Oh…
Glens a fag and maybe should stop worrying about what I write and worry about that little vato he sugar daddies. I’ve heard things. ANYWAYS, so I was just thinking wouldn’t it be nice if all the courts and jails were replaced with lots of zoos with like super cute tigers!
!!” -Vanessa Evan Urquhart
“like tigers
are super dangerous but the likelihood of being attacked or killed by one are super rare. Same with being raped and sexually assaulted. (And to be honest where do most tiger attacks happen? IKR! Africa and sometimes, like India too, so maybe avoid going to those places if you don’t want something happening to you. lol) And like, stop being so obsessed about when these super rare and random thing do happen, cause just takes attention away from the people that something way worse happened too! smh” - Vanessa Evan Urquhart
