She was drinking alcohol throughout the stream and was tipsy, so being 'out of character' like that makes sense. I understand if some people didn't like it, but I personally thought it was endearing and a nice change of pace from her usual antics.

AnyColor released a report similar to what Cover released last week about how it deal with online harassment and stalkers.

One interesting topic is it mention dealing with the blogs that infringe upon their talents. Probably the shit ton of dox sites floating around in JP. Still, what they did is a lot more vague compare to Cover's (we filed lawsuit against this two case and the result are this and this). For AnyColor it's just: we ask them to take those info down.
No justice for Lulu yet. My eldritch abomination doesn't deserve this.

The latter would be absolutely terrible to deal with, Japan uses civil law based off of mid to late 1800s Prussian/German legal autism, its pretty fucking horrific from a general western common law point of view.
With civil law criminal defamation in a number of countries and probably Japan, I don't think truth is a defense if the person isn't a public figure and caused them reputation damage, if they are a public figure everything that's said about them has to be proven literally true or the speaker could go to prison and even pay restitution.

As someone who lived in Japan but isn't intimate with their laws, I can offer what information I can:

Libel is a HUGE problem in Japan, and civil suits are largely ineffective of giving the victim and proper relief, so almost all of them - as is the case with Narukami Sabaki now - will likely go through the Criminal Code.

As such, truth isn't a defence UNLESS Narukami can argue that it was in the public's best interest and that he didn't profit off of it (which he did, so good luck with that one). If the victim (who I believe is Yuzuki Roa in this case) is feeling particularly generous, she can simply have him motion to restore her reputation. Unfortunately, she has been unable to work for a whole year now as a result and so I think Nijisanji are just gonna go for his throat with moves for big payouts and/or jail time.

Cover really went above any beyond divulging what they did. Anycolor's statement is more of what we can expect to be fielded to the public, so I don't begrudge their lack of clarity. 90 cases in a year is still nothing to scoff at if they've been effective shutting down malicious forums. Narukami Sabaki is much easier to throw a court case at than a random stalker on an anonymous forum.

Imagine Lulu jump ship to Cover side for HoloJP Gen 6. We have Luna as a precedent case so it’s possible. If it’s true then it will be a big low blow against Niji reputation. If only we have Vtuber talents transfer between big companies like how we did with soccer instead of graduation then redebut.
